I need two Gold Cup tickets for Friday and Saturday night races only. I have two friends flying in from Indiana but they can't take more time off work and can only attend the final two nights.
Do you think there will some extra tickets in the campground during the week?

Spend the extra money and take them in the pits..... no drinking= NO DRUNKS, and during the breaks you can wonder around and check out the cars....
price Pits, $65... I think....
Grandstand $35...
Just my 2 cents....

In the past I've been successful finding tickets on race day for friends. If you don't go the pit pass route avoid the turn 1 and 4 bleachers if possible. Even though the bleacher are sold as reserved seating for the Gold Cup they are packed in so tight for Saturday that it can be pretty darn uncomfortable. At least that's been my experience.

Yeah I agree with turns 1 and 4 being really bad for Gold Cup! We went last year and got hit by big dirt clods and I was pregnant so it was extra scary! There are lots of drunks and you are crammed together like sardines. I am also looking for 2 tickets for Saturday night in the Grandstands. Of all the races I have been to I have never went into the pits during a race! I would love to go into the pits but $65 is pretty expensive for someone who doesn't work anymore. Well technically I do work but it's a hard job where I don't make any money, lol!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

racecars on dirt!

If it wasnt for those Drunks you would have no high dollar Gold Cup. The "Drunks" as you call them make the tracks money. I will drink to that!

The most I have Paid for a pit pass is $50.00 on Saturday night
the pits are the best way to go
it is the only place to be @ the Gold Cup on Saturday night
and It's nice not siting with Drunks
