I have never ordered a live streaming race over the internet. But last night was the first time I did and I must say I am not disappointed I did. At first it was kinda hard because of the free viewers that were all on the site at once. But after the free preview was over, my computer never gliched, froze or did anything crazy. My computer has a S-Cable plug in, so before I turned my computer on and the TV I plugged the S-Cable into the TV and the computer. Then when I turned on my computer I had the image on both my computer and TV. I was very pleased to the quality of the video feed and how well I could see the race. For anyone that may have thought about getting this, SHOULD! It was great last night seeing it all play out.

I have watched quite a bit of live streaming race video over the last couple of years. If you have the bandwidth the results are normally pretty good. This year Dirtvision's Summer Sizzle races were excellent. In the past years there was a lot of issues but this year my experience was great.
Race/Network has always been pretty good for me. I didn't experience any buffering or other interruptions last night. I do think the camera work was sub par though. Not much use of wide angle shots or zooming. For me it was hard to tell where the pack being followed was in relation to the leaders on the track and several times the camera quickly panned from one end of the track to the other.
I'll never understand why a camera is zoomed on the finish line as cars blur by to take the checkered. I'd like to see a wide angle shot showing the battles from turn 4 to the checkered flag.
Dean Mills is a master behind the camera. If you get a chance to view any of his work, do so.

i think some camera guys try to capture the finishing order of a race and zoom in thinking they are going to get it. if they would pan out some it might work better.
