Now last Saturday night in Antioch, I couldnt believe what I witnessed. Laying on the back straightaway across the track, was the points leader. Now when they went to line back up after 4 laps of caution went by, and back out came Allard. I still cant believe how quick the car got put back together enough to race. That was a great job by that crew.

Ashly Smith and crew are incredible. They are right there with the HOGS in-terms of having their Sh*t together. When it hits the fan both squads really get it done. The adage that races (championships) are won in the pits does not only apply to NASCAR.

Not only did the crew do a great job, but Jonathan did a heckuva job behind the wheel as well to make eight laps in a severly damaged car. Not dropping out was big since he was placed in front of a lot of cars that had already gone a lap down. Without the crew putting in the outstanding effort and Jonathan doing what he does best, this point deal would have been a lot closer than it currently is.

Yes Gary, Jonathan did a great job of getting back into the car. Good point about staying ahead of cars that were scored one lap down, I didnt think about those spots til you mentioned it there. Nice.

"Someone" turned right into him on the backstretch taking out the whole front end leaviang the car a mangled wreck. Ashley took command in the work area before the car was even towed in their. He handed out specfic jobs to all who had come to help and then the car came in. Morrie and I just shook our heads like it was a lost cause. But, everyone went to work on the area given to them and it magically happened. I saw the 0 Hero's, Trece Van Curran, Rod and even a guy from Tyler Walker's crew helping out. It truly was amazing for a car wrecked that bad to be put back together in about 7 minutes time or less and be pushed out not losing a lap! It was a text book job or what team work is all about!
