This is a crappy way to handle the rain out. All the fans that paid to get in only got to see some of the heat races and they are calling it a night. I go to Jacksonville to watch sprint cars & they didn't get any of the sprint heats in and was called a completed show. So now in order for me to watch the sprint cars that I paid to watch on Friday the 18th, I have to pay again on the 25th if I want to watch them. What about the drivers & crews of the sprint cars that paid to race at Jacksonville & didn't get to? I talked with one of the drivers and he said that...the driver will get a free pit pass but for the crew they are just out that money. I want to know what other fans & crews think about this. I would understand doing it this way if they got all of the heat races in for all the classes but the didn't. They actually said that night that due to time restraints there weren't going to be heat races for the pony class only a feature. If I was a pony driver I wouldn't even bother getting a car ready to race a feature that they usually cut short anyway. Just my opinion.

All the drivers are getting paid for both shows on the 25th.They have been nothing but thankfull we are not making them run extra laps on their equipment ,for the same money.Obviously you do not finance a sprinter.I'm sorry you are mad cause you paid 24$ to see the sprints, and others will only pay 12$.When 6 races have been ran, this is a comlete show, when all the racers have been reinbursed. How many extra cars will be here for 2,400 to win and 350 to start?I guess you never been to a track and got rained out,and had to come back at a later date.

That track has some serious organization issues....there is something to be said when drivers will travel an hour and half to run on a Friday night rather than half an hour to J-ville when it is a perfectly good track. Not to mention gas prices the way they are. They take too many pace laps after a caution, too long to clear the track, too long to get each segment started. There was a LM that flipped over the rfront stretch burm and landed on its wheels, the driver was okay and climbed out right away before track crew could get there, it stil took at least 15 minutes for them to even start moving the car back to pits. The car is broke, the drivers okay, get it out of the f***in way! The whole night seemed very disorganized. I had one of the pony cars there and they told me to save my wristband and use it as a raincheck for the next time. But the way I read there website they are having double payouts for pony and mini late models 8/1 and it says no refunds and no rainchecks due to double pay. (They cancelled the mini LM heats also.) So myself and everybody in those two classes towed over there, unloaded didn't get to run, and by the way the rest of the night was being run even if it didn't rain we probably would not have got to even run our features.

I understand how a fan could be unhappy. But I think they did all they could do to get that race in. Mother nature was not going to let it happen. My budget is tight this year. But I will be their Friday. I'm not going to miss that many non wings going for that kind of purse. I would recommend that they keep a close eye on the time and the delays if we are to get done in time. That is a lot of races for one night with a curfew.

Tell me how much money you got and I'll tell you how
fast you can go!

While I agree that they made a good effort to get the race in, and I can't believe the luck they've had with weather this year. That isn't an excuse to treat the racers who supported last week like this. I was also told that my wristbands were good for whenever we could come back. But that doesn't seem to be the case. So now cars that weren't there last week can come and pay $25 per pit pass to race for the same money that those who were there will wind up paying $50 per pit pass. That's not right.

I get some of what you guys are saying but the fact is this, The sprints are running for the full purse for both weeks in one feature. The drivers are only paying one pitpass from last week, not another one this week. It is unfortunate that it rained last week before the sprint heats but it did...... They seem to be really trying to make this work for the sprints and I for one will be there for it. Should be a kick Butt show. Kind of sucks for the crews and ponies but they are trying

make it as fair as possible. I say go away rain and lets race. Kudo's to the Wests for all of their hard work

and good luck.
