The Insider- July 8th. Yes it is true Tim Kaeding has moved on to the Roth Motorsports Team 83 JR ride headed up by Todd Ventura. The move came just after the Skagit race. Tim Kaeding has been a long time favorite of Todd Ventura and Dennis Roth from Roth Motorsports so when the opportunity arose for Todd to get TK back in the car he didn’t hesitate. TK made the move back to the 83jr which will allow him to again go out and hit the big races on the road. Roth Motorsports team has indicated that they will not do a full time road deal and will not race for points anywhere. The team will run big races and run at home when they are not on the road, much like the plans the Rolfe 10 car had in mind in the beginning. TK wants to Thank Tom Rolfe and the team for all the hard work they put in to keep the team going under some difficult circumstances when JFMcCray Plastering Principal Joel McCray passed away in recent months and some of the team members left the team. Rod Tiner Jr worked very hard to keep the car on the track every week with good results. Its not often a team can go through turmoil like this team did and keep racing. The Rolfe team not only was able to keep going but was competitive as well each race they were in. There will be many speculations as to why the change but that is all it is. In all sports there will be change for one reason or the other and sometimes there is no real reason, just that it is time for a new adventure, this is that time.

Roth Motorsports plans on running Chico this Saturday then hit the road with the
Thunder Through the Plains schedule. The schedule is 7-28 Thunderhill Speedway Mayetta, KS, 7-29 RPM Speedway Hays, KS, 7-30 81 Speedway Wichita, KS, 7-31 Belleville High Banks Belleville, KS. The team will head from there to run Knoxville on the 2nd for the week before the Nationals, both nights at Oskaloosa and the Nationals will naturally follow from there. The schedule for the rest of the year will include Calistoga Labor Day, Cottage Grove and the Gold Cup. If all goes well TK will again return to the Oval Nationals at the PAS. Look for good things to come as this team develops in the months to come.

They had better check their schedule or they will be showing up in the midwest at tracks that are not racing.....here is the Thunder Through The Plains schedule......

7-31 Belleville High Banks

8-1 Thunderhill Speedway in Mayette, KS

8-2 Eagle Raceway in Eagle, NE

8-3 Huset's Speedway in Brandon, SD.

I can't wait to see TK on the big 1/2 mile at Belleville.

I wonder if they will be racing at Watsonville and Antioch GSC the weekend of July 18th before they leave for the Midwest?

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the

The last I heard he will be racing in Chico on Sat. and then at Watsonville and Antioch before heading out on the road. The way things change it isn't written in stone.

OT: Who was it that tried to choke another driver on the front stretch not to long ago.

Which driver rammed another in the pits a while back.

Wasn't there a driver that ran into another with their pit cart?

A few years ago didn't a father try to ram his son with a sprint car?

Point being, there have been a boat load of these kind of instances over the years. Take out all of the drivers that have done something like that and you won't have enough left to fill an A-main.

Thanks for the info Wheelied! We always enjoy watching TK race and it would be nice to see him race before he leaves the state to go have some fun!

Twenty8- Didn't you get the memo that Hoseheads isn't a place to bash drivers!

I have to agree with Johns Racing Photos that many things have happened over the years, but we try to think of the positive things and forget about the negative.

...and then there was the driver that dumped his wife for his step-daughter; wife retaliated; someone got stabbed with a screw driver in the pits...

Commenting on what TK did that was caught on tape just a couple weeks ago is bashing ? Now he gets rewarded for it with a new ride.
