There are lots of nice hotels in Brandon - just down the road from the speedway about 15 minutes. We always stayed in that area. STAY AWAY from the Busch Gardens area of Tampa!!!!!! We made that mistake on our first trip down there. We're probably lucky to be alive. Our Days Inn was a crack house!!!
