The rumor in the pits last Saturday was that he quit and walked away from it on Saturday, June 14, but then he showed up and raced it last Saturday, the 21st. I don't know what the latest rumor is or
if there is any validity in it at all. I guess we shall just have to wait and see. He just might be getting tired of being a backmarker every week.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

If he is tired of being a backmarker what is he going to do, retire.

It sounds like he quit this week sometime because they refuse to change the setup or even try anything to make the car better. I would guess that he will be back with Steve Wares.

Talked to Jeff Sunday at the Iowa Speedway and he was still the driver then. Said they went forward Saturday Night and not backward as previous weeks. I have heard other teams say the new Maxim chassis are different to get setup. Jeff said Casey's wanted him to remain with the 47 team. Only time will tell !!! I do know Wares/Harrison team has released Eric.

Wayne Johnson is running the new Maxims and would've won his 5th straight, if not for engine failure. Guess not everyone is having a hard time with them......

Its crazy that Sonners don't put there nephew Russ Hall into there car. For what he does on his own in the 360s shows hes no waste, and wasnt that him passing the 47 car in the 69 car last saturday that hes never raced? Put alittle backing behind the kid and they might find the Caseys car competitive again..

It looks like Droud spun out twice so they must sill have some problems with the car. Maybe they will listen to him?
