I see Lucas Oil mentioned in the press release from Saturdays race and I see the Lucas Oil logo on the CRA page of the new USAC web site. Did I miss the announcement? I get what seems like 100 press releases a week from USAC, but I dont remember reading that Luca Oil was back as our sponsor.

This was announced earlier this year. Not to sure if it involves much $$$$ for the CRA group. No such announcement ever stated $$$$ involved.

I think this is the proper link, however I believe it is from last year as they mention the National and Western series as also being sponsored by Lucas. I'm pretty sure that is not the case this year. On the new USAC web site the only logo that mentions Lucas is CRA. I just want to know if I should use the Lucas logo on my videos or not.

In another post I mentioned that Kevin Miller stopped short of making an annoucement about a "marketing partner" with CRA on Rob Klepper's show last week. That is what drew my interest to Lucas Oil. Maybe Lance knows something.

Following an e-mail to the Rob Klepper's Intertnet radio program on Racefanradio concerning the Lucas Oil sponsorship of CRA, I listened in tonight for an answer. Mr. Klepper announced that yes it is true and that Lucas Oil is now the new sponsor of the series. He said a news release would be forthcoming and that he did not know to many of the details. The Lucas Oil logo is now connected to the USAC/CRA logo on the USAC website. Great news!
