I went to eldora to watch the kings royal for the first time last year and I watched the race from the infield platform but the very top platform was not open any suggestions on where the best place to watch it would be?

the infield is the worst place to watch a race at Eldora... at this point you'll probably only get tickets in the stands down low... maybe shoot for anywhere in the main stands no lower than 15 rows from the top, or in the terrace (with lawn chair) off 4. part of the problem with the stands in the corner is you can't see all the action as it goes by...the walls in the way, you get a lot of the top of a wing. generally shot for sections B-D, rows ten and up...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.
