I heard that Tim Shaffer is going to be out of the car and Danny Lasoski is going to be in the #6 Casey's General store car. Has anyone heard anything about that?

Sure seems like Danny has been in the Lamberti sponsored cars before, and even won the season championship at Knoxville (the year he had his cancer) in one of them.
After the breakup, Lasoski still had enough "clout" to get his nephew into a Caseys car for a stint when the driver had less talent than he has today.
I think Lasoski is respected by the Caseys team yet to this day.
The only thing that might keep him out of it is Mr. Lamberti's complete loyality to his friends, and usually will stick by them through good times as well as bad times.

true or not i'm surprised there isn't another pilot for this car yet. with guys like Lasoski, Tatnell, TK, and many others sitting at home and the 6 car is hardly noticed.

There was a rumor that lonnie parson who owns the 6 is looking to retire after the 09 season. So whether the rumor of tim shaffer is right or wrong tim or anyone else may be out of the ride within the next seventeen month or so months.
