i've typed and deleted about 6 times now. so i'll just cut to the point. i thought the track completely failed to truly honor and properly recognize the passing of one of the best ambassadors for this areas racing tonight. much more should have been said/done. i'll leave it there because it gets much much much more harsh after that.

I wasnt there tonight so i dont know what was said or done. I feel as if the powers that be are trying to get away from the history of the track. I do not want to sound like a debbie downer but just how I feel.

I was in the pits all night and was not able to hear weather they gave Jack any recognition. If they didn't, or if they just kinda mentioned it in passing that REALLY STINKS.

I do know what they did not do. With the low car count and plenty of time to spare they should have had a Missing Man formation at the start of the A Feature in every class that ran tonite to celebrate the life of Jack Claxton.

Many of you already know, if you were racing Mo-Peds, in Jack's eyes you were a racer and he would be the first one to give you encouragement and support. I was more than disappointed when I read Fridays, Daily Oklahoman, only to find a tiny announcement in which I had to borrow a co-workers magnifying glass to read.

Jack was another genuine gentleman that will be sorely missed by all. He certainly deserves more recognition.
