Just talked to Gary Prins (the Worthington Promoter) and the track is in great shape as they have been able to work it this week and got almost no rain out of what when through last night.

We will see what today brings, but as of now Worthington looks real good for Friday, as of now.

Jackson on the other hand, looks iffy at best for Saturday. We did not get a lot of rain at Jackson last night, but the track is still extremely wet and we have not been able to do much work at all this week on the Jackson Track.

The weather isn't cooperating with us. Been raining here since 12:30 pm. Hope this stops soon and the wind will come up.

As 6:45 pm: The rain has stopped for now. I have 1 inch in my rain gage. But, I know we got more than that. Most of the rain was coming down sideways. Drove by the track at 5:45, the pit area didn't look good. Just thought I would give everyone an update.

8:20 AM UPDATE

It hadn't rained since 6:45 last night. But we just had a small shower come through, just enough to get the roads wet. Heck, the radar didn't even show this rain on it. Winds have came up. The winds should help in drying. Not much sun as of yet. I drove by the track at 7:45 this morning. No work has been done yet this morning. Pit area still looks pretty wet. I'm sure they will be out there soon trying to work on pit area.

I just thought I would give everyone an update. Hope they hold off on making a decision until after 1:00 or so, with the high winds today 20-30 mph, we should get some good drying.
