For those of you that do not know, Lonnie Clabaugh, David Cardeys crew chief and one of the really good guys in sprint car racing is undergoing surgery as we speak for colon cancer. It was detected early and the doctors assure him they will get it all and no worries for the future. I know you all join us in sending our thoughts and prayers to he and his family.

Wishing Lonnie success with the surgery and I pray for a speedy recovery. I couldnt agree more, he certainly is "one of the really good guys in sprint car racing"

I just talked to Joyce Cardey and she said the surgery went very well, the doctors are happy and Lonnie was even up and walking around a bit. She will have more details tomorrow. Great news!

Thanks everyone for the positive thoughts, the doctors said they got it all and sent me home yesterday. See ya at the races as soon as the new A-hole heals up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
