...congratulations to the 11 Ohio/All Star regulars that took home some Outlaw money tonight...granted nobody had anything for Schatz, but these guys proved that the Outlaws have to earn it when they get to Attica Raceway Park...big props to the following drivers and their teams...

...Dale Blaney, David Harrison, Byron Reed, Brandon Martin, Chris Andrews, Andy Shammo, Lee Jacobs, Paul McMahan, Chad Blonde, Kevin Huntley, and Rob Chaney...

...good night for the two Ohio drivers on the tour as well...Chad Kemenah (4th) and Jac Haudenschild (6th)...

...and for those of you that choose to turn this into "one of those" conversations...

...central Pennsylvanian Lucas Wolfe finished 19th..

...former Knoxville track champions Kerry Madsen finished 7th, and 6x champ Terry Mc"C"arl set up a Big Game tree stand on the backstretch and watched the feature from the dirt road leading back to the highway...

...Canadians not in attendance...either at the movies or pondering yet another year WITHOUT Lord Stanley's cup !...LOL !

Steve jumped the cushion & hit the tires in turn 4. Didn't get it repaired in time for the retart. With the rain on the way, the restarts were rapid-fire with no waiting.

...not sure Mark...we hit the road as soon as the checkers fell to try and beat the weather...if someone doesn't answer before, I'll see what the word is tonight at Eldora...

" the restarts were rapid-fire with no waiting."

Should be that way at every track and every race across the country, regardless of whether or not rain is on the way.

If it can't be fixed before the lineup is done and the field is ready for the green flag to bad, try again next time.

The field was split...WoO = Top 11

...Ohio = 1 in Top 10 (9th)

That is what I call a split field by the Ohio locals???

It WAS split - they took the first half, we took the second half! I wish we'd have had more guys in the Top 10, but it was nice to see that many make the A. I'll take that over loading up after the C-main any day!

I think McMahan's tires just faded on him - he was FAST for the first 10 laps until Schatz got by him...then he just moonwalked back through the pack.

amazing that WoO would speed up a show and get rid of all the normal trappings of the normal drawn out - engine change / work area / open red - show pace. i guess Schatz didn't need to swap enignes 2 or 3 times!

...I knew there would be at least one...

...if you read my post I stated Ohio AND All Star regulars...but if you want to be an ass about it, yes OHIO DRIVERS still placed 10 drivers in the 24 drivers that actually qualified based on their on track performance...including 3 in the top 10 (Kemenah 4th, Haudenschild 6th, and Blaney 9th)...Sides and Shaffer were GIVEN their starting positions...NO Ohio drivers took provisionals !...

...and if you want to subtract WoO guys Kemenah and Haud from the equation... 8 Ohio, non WoO regulars still raced their way into the field (Blaney, Harrison, Reed, Martin, Andrews, Shammo, L. Jacobs, and Chaney)...

...and your home states performance against the big boys ???...

They also skipped B & Dash inteviews to rush the program. Drivers knew it was coming too (with sprinkles already in the air) & were lined up for restarts very quickly.

I was very proud of the northern Ohioans!! (And did you see Brandon Martin dicing it up w/Meyers in the heat?? ) Only a couple of tracks anywhere that can hold half the field vs. the best in the world.

Michael, I have no idea of what you're trying to imply. We are very proud of all of our drivers around here. Many of us have our favorites and guys we root against during our weekly shows but when the almighty money pit comes to town most if not all of the fans pull together and root for our locals.

If the money pit drivers lived up to the expectations of their bank accounts none of the locals would have made the show. Infact, if I were part of the almighty money pit, I would have left town in shame.
