Anyone got a race, they know of, for me to go to on Monday Night? I got 3 days off and don't know what to do with myself. Anything!

Well, I am looking around and The Mid West All Stars are in Quincy, IL. About 155 miles from me. Looks like my best option at the moment. Straight shot from Cedar Rapids.

I'll get back to you on that one later tonight. Sounds good though. We could met up where I work at the Clarion Hotel in Cedar Rapids. Same exit off Hwy 30 as Hawkeye Downs.
Can't wait for my Rebate check so I can get a new car and drive further away.

I just spoke with the promoter at Quincy Raceway. They had some rain overnight but they were working on the track in preparation for tonight and Monday's events. The O'Reilly Midwest All Star race is still on as of this posting. All parties involved are keeping a close watch on the weather. We will update if there is a change. The facility will also host modifieds Monday, making it an open-wheeled night.
Quincy should be a good show. Several drivers in the Iowa/Illinois/Missouri area have expressed a lot of interest in being there. I have also spoken with Greg Wilson and the team is very interested in coming as well. Greg and the W20 team will be in action at Eldora tonight and then will evaluate traveling. I was also told that there are a few Knoxville and some additional 360 cars thinking about making the show. Some of the 360 cars might be coming from the Sprint Invaders???? Not certain on that, but they have a race there later in the season and it would make some sense for some of them to get a few laps in to get used to the new layout.
Schedule of events:
3:00 Pit Gates Open
4:00 Grandstands Open
5:00 Drivers Meeting
5:30 Hotlaps/Qualifying
6:00 Racing

Alot of crazy stuff in mine and Nodust's neck of the woods tonight. Thank you for the update. I just got home and my first order was to check here then the Quincy forecast and postcast. I have a birthday party to be at til 2:50pm then I can head out.
If I don't hear from you Duster I will go it alone. I get $25 choice rooms so I will just stay. 641-318-1201.
Pray for the many many many Iowa Tornado Victims. 27 Twisters in about 5 hours.

It is 4:45 am now and I just checked all radars. Quincy is being pounded by Red and Yellow on the radar and looks to be getting rain for another 3 hours. But Fingers crossed.
