Any weather /race news for Saturday in Chico??After spending 4.99 a gallon for diesel last nite dont want to tow the 150miles one way to get rained on.Any updates/news would be appreciated,also is there a time when a decision will be made??Thank You

I can tell you as of 11:49 am here in Chico that it is overcast and very windy. Skies are dark, but no rain yet. We had light rain off and on late last night. It is just too up in the air to advise you. I understand your problem. However the Fair is running there today and they won't close if it rains, so maybe that is an alterative should it rain for the races.
I am sure Robbie will let us know if anything changes.
I will keep posting the weather for you.

What is going on with this weird weather? Last week it was over 100 degrees and this weekend it is cool and rainy! Not typical weather for Memorial Day weekend. The weather forcaster said it was a low system that got confused and went West which usually doesn't happen. I hope the weather improves for the races tonight and tomorrow 
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

At 2:40 pm here in Chico we have had a few "spits" of rain, nothing at the moment of rain. There is a very COLD strong wind all day. Temp says 60, I don't believe it!! Feels like I am back in SEATTLE!!

4:08 pm, no rain for awhile and what we did get today was light. Race still on rigs are at the track.
