Active central PA drivers who have beat the outlaws: DeWease, Rahmer, Shepard, Hodnett, Kreitz, Shaffer, Leppo, M. Smith, S. Smith, Layton, Kauffman, Esh, Keel, Eash

Those are the only stats you need to know.

Heres some more though: 35, 34, 38; those are the car counts for the last 3 nights of non-sanctioned 410 races in central PA. The WOO has raced twice in this 3 day period with 26 and 23.

Here's this years LD stats: Wins on the road: 2, Wins in central PA: 0. Being a LD fan I do hope that second # changes soon.

You forgot Bill Brian Jr. He beat the WoO at Lincoln.

MSPN has been a sore sport for years...more failing horse shit - onece again he proves that he is UNABLE to produce stats because he simply doe not have the numbers. he has always relied on others to bouy his miserable cause as he does not have the skills to maintain an accurate list of anything. similar to his record for accureacy in reporting income, i am sure.

Big Slim asked for stats to prove your position...where are they?

Holden - Add Mike Erdlery for delivering a pounding to the NST at Selinsgrove. Kinser had several restarts right on his tail and could not make a move.

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Can't believe the Posse rah-rah boys finally made me sign up for this place, but they have.

BRR & Drak, why don't you post a complete list of all the WoO vs. Posse races on your home ground for the last 30 years. You are the top cheerleaders for the wanna-be Outlaws, so surely you have those stats right at your fingertips.

If you don't want to, I can't blame you much. Don't want to see the actual truth about the horrible record you hold against the best in the business, even at the friendly confines of your infamous porch.

I do want to congratulate Lance and the 30C team on their big win though. Great guy, hard-working crew, and they had a great run.

Bet they're glad they finally decided to stretch their legs and get out into the real world of racing.

BRR, it looks to me like I asked that YOU and Drak post a complete list. But all you've done is to fall back on bashing someone; no surprise in that.

Holden, since you did post some sort of list (one which you seem to believe adds credence to this charade that Posse has it over the WoO), why don't you provide the list? Oh wait, that would kill the argument wouldn't it?? A handful of wins over 30 years....now that IS something to brag about.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut/even a blind chicken finds a sunflower seed sometimes. Those old addages hold true yet today, and apply strongly here.

Yes, I do agree that PA has some....read that SOME of the best local racers in the country. But so does Ohio, California and other places. That doesn't mean they are better than or even equal to the Outlaws.

Where else in America are there 15 WoO feature winners racing regularly? Dig through the stats all you want. There is nowhere else in the country where that can be said. Using your rationale, why doesn't the rest of of the country beat the Outlaws even five percent of the times? I am thinking yours is just another one post gimmick account designed to bash.

For you to argue that PA doesn't have the best locals in America is foolish. Look at the argument you are making. You argue that it takes the entire rest of the country to surpass the talent racing in PA weekly.

Big Slim, I'm a fan from Ohio. I have the utmost confidence in the skill of our locals wether they run here every week or follow the allstars. There is one simple fact that everyone ignores in these threads. Our guys can't afford to drop 3 motors in a single night. While I firmly believe that a lot of the posse teams have a superior budget in comparison to the drivers in most other areas of the country, I highly doubt that most of them can afford to do that either. Until money becomes a lesser part of the equation, statistics don't really mean crap.

I had a brief conversation with Dean Jacobs a couple of years ago when he was still in the Ray Pullins ride. The night before the allstars were at K-C and I was listening to the internet broadcast. Dean pulled the car into the infield halfway throught the A-main so I asked him what happened. He said that something happened to the motor and he was afraid to cook it since it was the only one that they had.

The statistic that I would like to see is how many motors it takes the average WoO team to come to town and "beat" the locals. How are the locals supposed to compete when most of them are running on a shoestring budget while the WoO team next to them pulls into the pits next to them in a hauler that costs what the locals spend in several years of racing alone. Nobody will ever post up those stats. Why? Because it takes the shine off their arguements. Put them on equal footing and lets see what happens then. As long as the entire sprint car community allows the WoO ownership to dictate the rules for them nothing will change.

Not in the least. I argue that there are great local racers across the country, and even out of it. All I'm seeking is that those who tout the Posse as better than the WoO to come to the realization that they have no basis for such claims, other than the odd win here and there. In total, the WoO's record against the PA boys far outdoes the obverse. As the COMPLETE list of ALL races with the 2 parties involved would show. I'm fairly sure that I saw either a list or at the very least a compilation of the results posted here in the last couple of years.

And please, do point out where I bashed anyone.

Powerslave, you are correct in your statement that it's an unfair comparison when you speak of the relative bankrolls. But then again, what's fair in this life?? It's rather like trying to put the chick back into the egg. It can't be undone.

My whole intention is to show that fair or unfair, the WoO's record against any and all comers is pretty blatantly in favor of "The Big Boys".

So, the local fans should bow down and kiss the WoO drivers asses because they always win, unfair advantage or not? Sorry, they are the enemy. Every damn cent a local driver can take from one of them the better. I don't care if its for last place in the A or winning the whole damn thing. I salute every driver in PA that beats them and I hope and am almost certainly sure that they feel the same way when one of our guys does well against them also.

I don't know why I'm so passionate about it. The WoO don't have the stones to come to our equalizer despite repeated invitations by the former promoter. Atleast the NST had the balls to come to town.

Here is the thread that Mr. Slim speaks of...

http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum~pageNum_qGetThread~3~ThreadID~8024.htm

There are differing opinions on the whole PA vs WoO threads. It seems that the PA fans like to lay claim to the best winning percentage against the WoO and rightly so. Then there is MSPN, who likes to bash the PA fans and drivers and make statements that the PA drivers can only win in "their backyard".

To even think about making a statement that the PA teams are not the best group of "local" 410 racers on the planet just shows stupidity. Ask any WoO driver where the toughest group of locals are and they will be quick to tell you, PA.

On top of that, PA teams have even traveled to Florida, Ohio, Iowa and California and racked up wins.

Go to the link above and take a look at the stats there, it speaks volumes.

Well, your post pretty much ignores what 99 percent of the people in PA think and write on here. If you have a problem with one or two of the fans from PA, then take it to personal e-mail. There are only a couple people in PA that would write that our region is better than the entire rest of America combined. That is why the Posse vs. the WoO threads on here are so silly. You are comparing the entire rest of the country with a small area in PA. The WoO should win 95 percent of the races here like they do everywhere else, and that does not happen.

I have great respect for local 410 racers in Ohio, Knoxville and California. I understand being competitive against the WoO is often dictated by money. But the people that just bash the PA teams and drivers look silly when you look at how many PA drivers have beaten the WoO compared to locals everyone else in America.

Powerslave, I agree with nearly everything you have said in your last couple posts.

Up front, in your face, facts. Come in Mulligan!!! Do you have any facts to post..................didn't think so.

Fellow members, sit up and take notice.....................Mulligan talks junk.........no concrete facts whatsoever. The song remains the same.

Show up at the races, show your face, step to the plate and be a man. While you're at it, smell yourself before you make the trip.wink

No, my post pointedly zeroes in on the posts on here. As I do not know, nor have any reference to judge the 99% of which you speak, how can I address them??

No, I have no problem with any posters. Just a wish to make clear that although any win by any driver, no matter where they hail from or what series they are or aren't currently with, should be celebrated; it needs to be done with a clear eye towards reality. No win by anyone ever was earth-shattering; monumental in some ways, probably but in the grand scheme of life???

I also have great respect for not only the drivers you mention, but everyone who ever put on a show for myself and others. And that's why I congratulated the driver and team which the original post was about. Every driver deserves accolades; win or lose; because they entertain us all.

Lastly, I bashed noone; Posse, WoO, California, Ohio or Timbuktu. Seems to me that perhaps you and some of the other 1% of which you spoke are a bit overly defensive.

So you have never been to PA to see any racing here and do not have any knowledge of the fan base as a whole? Yet you started a new account to just flame away? That is pretty much what I thought. You wanted the stats and people gave you the stats. The stats are that there is nowhere else in America than the locals win anywhere near as often as they do in PA.

If you are going to start a gimmick account, you at least need a fresh angle. The one you are using has been done to death.

Here's a list of active Californians that has beat the Outlaws: Jason Meyers, Tim Kaeding, Tyler Walker, Paul McMahan, Brent Kaeding, Brad Furr, Jason Statler, Jonathon Allard, Darrell Hanestad, and Randy Hannagan. Not bad IMO. I'm really just tired of the chest pumping by SOME on here. Hell if you really want to get to the "nut's and bolt's" of this subject, the "King" from Indiana has kicked everyone's ass from Coast to Coast in a sprint-car. This whole locals vs. woo is the biggest joke going. So many guy's leave home to run with the woo all the time, that it doesn't really matter IMO. I can tell this though, I would love for the Posse to come to California and win on a regular basis, just as much as i would love to see CA. go to PA. country and kick butt. THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN EITHER WAY. The racing style's are way to different for that to happen at the moment, but I can see Meyer's or Kaeding coming to PA. and winning a race before a PA. guy is going to win a race in CA. at this time.......unless it was at Calistoga(take off the wing that is). Anyway's just be happy with what you have for local racing, but it's not on the level of what you think it really is. There is GREAT racing all over this country!! Just wanted to state my belief on this subject and you might beg to differ, but i will believe otherwise probably.

Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!
