By the number of Bandit Series Entries last season. Most of their races they shared a ride. OK?

Pete, What makes a driver a "ROOKIE". You say Vanderweerd's are eligible because of limited Bandit Series Entries. Well then if we use that theory then doesn't that make Justyne Hamblin a rookie for the series... Looking at the stats from last year Richard V ran 4 times with the bandits and Jace ran 2 times.. Justyne only ran 1 time.. We all know they all ran with SCRA last year. But we are talking about the "Bandit Series Entries" as you have listed... Just asking?

Your question is a good one. Thanks for asking. The Bandit rule 6 under driver eligibility:
Rookie-of-the-Year eligibility shall be determined by taking a green flag in any event after qualifying in 5 or less events in any prior racing season. An event is defined as a complete night of racing. More than 5 races in any other 360 or 410 sprint car series makes the driver ineligible for Rookie-of-the-Year status.
Hopefully that makes it more clear. As I calculate, all rookies meet the requirements as far as I am aware. Please come talk to me about this at Kings Saturday night.
Peter

Pete, Thanks for the ruling.. So stating with your rules that would make the Vanderweerd boys and Justyne ineligible for Rookie of the year.. You can look on Santa Maria stats from last year and also SCRA stats from last year and see that yes Justyne ran all year, Richard V ran a total of 8 races last year and Jace V ran 7.. I'm just trying to make it fair for the real Rookies in the division...

No sir RayJack, Greg Bragg is a fine driver and a veteran of many racing seasons including with USAC/CRA 410's driving the Pratt #12.
Thanks for playing...
Peter
