Uh, you do realize that a lot of wingless racing is also 410 racing, right?

lol. yeah. I don't care. I just know if it wasn't for ASCS, Oklahoma wouldn't have a lot of good sprint car racing. Just OKC on friday nights. When I do get to see 410's (at Knoxville on sat. of the 360 nationals) it's a pleasure. But in listening to the current situation.......witht the local 410's dying out all that will be left is the WoO and what are they when there is no lacal competition runnin against em? This is a highly confusing deal with many valid points on all sides. Sometimes it seems some of the PA sprint fans don't realize there is a whole country here full of sprints. The situation in PA is completely different from everywhere else......but I don't think it will always be this way. Maybe BRR can come on here and set me straight.lol.

DETROIT (AP) -- The Hydrogen Electric Racing Federation was unveiled Wednesday, the first step toward on-track competition for hydrogen electric fuel cell-powered racing.

HERF plans on beginning that on-track competition, dubbed the "Hydrogen 500," beginning in 2009, with additional races, including international events in 2010 and 2011.

Peter M. DeLorenzo, president and CEO of the HERF, introduced "The Future of Racing" in a speech before auto industry executives, senior executives from Bridgestone-Firestone and Michelin, as well as Tony George, the CEO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Racing League, and Scott Atherton, President and CEO of the American Le Mans Series.

I wanted to say something about Rahmer's comments about Jason Johnson freshening his engines after 12 races and putting new springs on after 6 races.

That couldn't be further from the truth as I know for a fact that Jason and the Lanny Row team send their engines in after 18-20 shows and they DO NOT change valve springs during that time.

Just wanted to clarify that, thank you
