We got 6/10 of an inch of rain last night. Could have been better, could have been worse.

We were not able to get on the track 1st thing this morning but are expecting to get back on the track later today, if not later this morning.

We made great progress on Monday and Tuesday and you can see pictures of the track on Monday on www.pilotracewaynews.com.

We were able to get both Sheepsfoots going on Tuesday before the rains came. We were able to get the track sealed over before the rains came yesterday afternoon.

If we don't get any more rain we will be in great shape for Friday.

No test and tune will be scheduled before Friday.

If we get more rain we will post information as we deciede it.

Has to rain out in Pontoon Beach for any Outlaw drivers to come. They are in Paducah the next night also.

I would imagine a couple Knoxville regulars will roll into Jackson.

Brian Brown is the only one I could find with it on his schedule.
I would expect that Zomer, Dobesh, Brahmer, Garner, Henderson, Mitrisin, Bakker, Ryan Roberts, Pinegar II might be there.

Skip Jackson & Rager Phillips are racing with the IRA.
Kaley is going to race with the Outlaws.

I90 driver's; Donovan Peterson, Brock Dump, Justin Saathoff, Troy Vink, Ryan Bickett, Dusty Ballenger, John Cressman, Casey Abbas, probably a few more but I am not really familar with I90 drivers.

I heard that after I wrote that. They have racers by appointment.Kinda like back in the old days of the Woodke car and Kolhs-Wheelbrog cars and many others.Kinda of cool in away you never know who could be inthe car week by week.

Its the Knoxville vs. IRA and 34 Raceway in West Burlington, IA tonight. And Knoxville tomorrow night for the IRA, don't know why Travis would come to town unless he isn't planning on running for points with the IRA?

I had heard Lasoski had called Jon and had asked him for extra money to show up... not sure if thats true or not, but my bet is he is gonna race with the WoO if they race tonight. Also heard the Forbrook might bring a car down... Driver? no clue... Maybe Tatnell? Unless he goes to IA with the IRA.

I just don't see us getting the show in tonight.... On top of the rain, i just think it would be to cold to get the stands packed like they want and should be... JMO

Keep us posted. There are a couple of inquiring minds up here north of the Cities that want to know. They're keeping the light on for us at a Jackson motel.

we really didnt get that much rain overnight, As stated earlier the track could really use some more moisture, it was dry last night. Keep our fingers crossed and get out the winter gear cause it will be cold. Not that we have really got that stuff put away with all the crazy weather we have lately.....

The temps don't look that cold but I keep forgetting that there aren't many hills or trees down there to block the wind like we have up here. I'll error on the warmth side and bring a winter jacket and hat.

Please keep us posted.

Racegirl is is raining in Jackson? Around 7:30 this morning it was raining in the lakes area. Seems to have finally stopped as of 8:30 or so. Didn't amount to much though.

I finally got enought courage to head outside, and it doesn't look like it has rained here for a little while, my driveway is starting to dry off. I only had a few drops in the rain gauge, and it looks like the clouds are breaking, but it is still pretty chili out there. Fingers are crossed and waiting for the sun Smile
