Congratulations to the "Jet" on a fine performance, landing in victory lane last night at Lincoln!
And how 'bout that run by "Fast" Freddie coming from 20th to 2nd! He was in 5th after 15 laps. Just imagine if this guy would start closer to the front on a weekly basis.....oh, wait. He does!
The "Hammer" was anything but impressive. After bringing out the caution to benefit himself in the heat race, so he could attempt to qualify, he still ended up running the consi. I am starting to believe that the stomach-spoiling paint scheme on the car is effecting the on-track perfomance! Wait....am I even allowed to discuss the "Hammer" on a message board.......?

He sure wasn't the fastest car in Florida with the Outlaws, 11th, 26th and a stellar 8th in the B-Main. Put down the pipe Cubic, reality ain't weakly racing. Take It Easy.....
PS Props to the Jet, wish I'd a heard his Victory Lane speech, I'll agree with Lincoln being the best though.....

Hey Mike, On to the important stuff. Did you bet the Derby on Saturday? I actually cashed in the Derby for the first time in about four years. It cost me $30 to win $29, but I was reasonably satisfied. LOL
Whenever the Derby comes around, I always look for value that may have been overlooked by the public. I could not bet a 2-1 favorite in a 20-horse field, especially one going off from the 20 hole. I had $5 across the board on 19 Gayego going off at 18-1 and $5 across the board on the 16 Denis of Cork going off at 27-1. Denis of Cork paid $11.60 to show, so I collected $29 on my bet.
I actually loved Gayego at 18-1 and thought he could win the race outright. His pre-race speed ratings were huge, but he was never a facor. I also liked both Gayego and Denis of Cork because they each went off as nice overlays compared to the morning line.
I actually did toy with the idea of just betting Big Brown on top with the rest of the field under him in exactas. That seemed to be the only way to make any kind of decent money with Big Brown, but I wussed out. I just can't back a 2-1 favorite in a field that large. The exacta ended up paying $141, so I wasn't real upset. I would have been kicking myself if some ridiculous longshot would have hit the board in second and the exacta would have been $300-400.

You're right, I've forgot more about sprints than you'll ever know and YOU wanna talk about drug usage, that's pretty funny. Since you jumped off the Freddie bandwagon a while back you at least don't make moronic claims about him like Cubic, finally a plus. Take It Easy.....

Mr Slick Track, Fast Freddie Rahmer, came from 20th to 2nd and would have had Shepard in a couple of more laps...on a night when the track was stuck wide open. It's his year...Outlaws who? Spincter says what?

Heck, I got three part-timers and love 'em all, having a blast. Working for the Gov is also known as 'cash for life' up here and bartending at a race track is something I would pay to do and the third one is better than the first two.
Single,I bet the Derby but like you couldn't bet a horse from that post unless it was Secretariat. I went to opening day at the oldest track in Canada (Fort Erie) and bet a bunch of races but the weather was lousy, like my handicapping that day. It wasn't all bad though coz' the Flyers put the Habs away, woo hoo!!!
How many bombers did Freddie pass anyway? He sure never passed much at the Outlaw shows earlier this year but there weren't a lot of weakly warriors there either, ho hum. He gets his chance at America's Slowest Half Mile soon and I expect him to sweep, Take It Easy.....
