The official details should be posted soon at www.IRASprints.Com and www.IRASprints.Org shortly and hit that stuff up for the accurate info. This here is for entertainment purposes only and not intended to be used inconsistent with product labeling, so accuracy is highly like not 100% so don't blame some kid for doing the right thing, come after me, I'm a man, I'm 40...

Cainen Riemann (R), Riemann 00, 15.806 [24]; 31. Scott Biertzer, Biertzer 4B, No Time.

First Heat Race (10 Laps) Top-5 transfer.
1. Dave Uttech [2]; 2. Scotty Neitzel [4]; 3. Billy Balog [1]; 4. Mike Kertscher [6]; 5. Mike Reinke [5]; 6. Kurt Davis [3]; 7. Tim VanDerVere [7]; 8. Joe Symoens [9]; 9. Adam Miller [10]; 10. Aaron Schipper [8].
DNS-Scott Biertzer.

Biertzer is still suffering from mechanical issues, pulls pit side moments after push-off. Uttech into the lead out of turn 2 over Neitzel and Balog. Lap-6: Yellow is out after Schipper spun in turn 2. Restart: VanDerVere spins down the low line of turn 2. Restart: Reinke takes the transfer spot using the high line out of turn 4 from Davis. Waning laps seen Balog and Kertscher swap the 4th spot.

Second Heat Race
1. Scotty Young [6]; 2. Brian Kristan [5]; 3. John Haeni [4]; 4. Andy Hunt [1]; 5. Russel Borland [2]; 6. Billy Warren [9]; 7. Bill Wirth [3]; 8. Shane Wenninger [10]; 9. Wayne Modjeski [8]; DNF-Rusty Egan [7].

Borland with the early lead through 3 corners until Haeni attempts to take it through turns 3-4 and he ends up spinning. Restart: Egan and Modjeski lock-up entering turn 1 for another yellow. Both into the work area and back out. Young makes the charge and takes the lead down the backstretch aided when Borland drops to 4th after nearly sideways twice down that backstretch as others checked-up. Haeni is back up to 3rd by Lap-3. The field is strung out by half-way with only Modjeski and Egan battling to not be last. Warren ran out of laps closing in on the transfer as Egan ducks pit side before the checkers.

Third Heat Race
1. Todd King [2]; 2. Steve Meyer [3]; 3. Donny Goeden [4]; 4. Tommy Sexton Jr. [6]; 5. TJ Luedtke [9]; 6. Scott Uttech [7]; 7. Jason Johnson [8]; 8. Kim Mock [1]; 9. Cainen Riemann [10];DNF-Billy Hafemann [5].

Mock with a short lived lead as King powers out of turn 2. Meyer sends Mock to 3rd out of turn 2 on Lap-2. Lap-8: Goeden takes the 3rd spot down the backstretch as Hafemann ducks pit side. White flag in the air and Mock spins low in turn 2. MSA Champ with a 360 receives the transfer for the Green-White-Checker finish. Sexton runs down Goeden and is inched at the line.

B Feature (15 Laps) Top-7 transfer.
1. Kim Mock [4]; 2. Kurt Davis [2]; 3. Bill Wirth [3]; 4. Billy Hafemann [1]; 5. Billy Warren [12]; 6. Tim VanDerVere [5]; 7. Jason Johnson [10]; 8. Scott Uttech [7]; 9. Aaron Schipper [8]; 10. Joe Symoens [11]; 11. Wayne Modjeski [9]; 12. Shane Wenninger [15]; 13. Cainen Riemann [14]. DNF-Adam Miller [13]; DNS-Rusty Egan [6]; DNS-Scott Biertzer.

Biertzer has been running test laps in between lulls in racing action and is unable to rid himself of his continued mechanical issues with the car tonight and ducks to the infield shortly after the green drops which in itself was short lived after Symoens spins in turn 2. Davis leads Hafemann and Mock around as Miller drops pit side within a couple of laps. Davis and Mock swap the lead 3rd time around with Mock taking the point and opening a slight advantage within a couple of laps from that. Lap-7: Warren moved into 7th through turn 4. Lap-10: Traffic as Johnson received the transfer as Uttech falls back slightly.

Incomplete A Feature (30 Laps)
1. Donny Goeden [1]; 2. Scotty Neitzel [3]; 3. Steve Meyer [14]; 4. Tim VanDerVere [19];
John Haeni [2]; Brian Kristan [4]; Dave Uttech [10]; Billy Hafemann [11]; Kurt Davis [12]; Bill Wirth [13]; Billy Balog [16]; Andy Hunt [17]; Kim Mock [18]; Jason Johnson [20]; Billy Warren [21]; TJ Luedtke [22]; Russel Borland [15]; DNF-18. Scotty Young [7]; DNF-19. Mike Reinke [5]; DNF-20. Mike Kertscher [8]; DNF-21. Todd King [9];
DNF-22. Tommy Sexton Jr. [6];
Alternate-Scott Uttech.

Initial start is waved off due to S. Uttech stays at the tail appearing to take the green (Alternate is not permitted by IRA rules to take the initial green unless notified otherwise). Haeni takes the initial lead over Goeden and cross the line for Lap-1 when the red is out after Sexton hit something/someone and bounced side-over-side entering turn 1. He walks away. Kertscher showing a tweaked front wing for the restart which lines-up: Haeni, Goeden, Neitzel, Reinke, Kristan, Kertscher, Young, D. Uttech, King and Meyer in the Top-10 then Davis, Wirth, Hafemann, Mock, Balog, Borland, Warren, Johnson, VanDerVere, Luedtke and Hunt. Neitzel and Goeden swap the 2nd spot out of turn 2 with Haeni and then Neitzel showing signs of some smoke around Lap-5, but nothing seems to affect each driver well in winning contention. Goeden takes the lead on Lap-7 out of turn 4. King is about the only driver using the low line and it is really working to his advantage as he is solidly in the Top-10 running all by his lonesome down there. Lap-12: Traffic, King is moving through the field very nice into the Top-5. Lap-15: Heavy traffic, King is up to 3rd. Meyer is also quickly disposing of positions now running the bottom as well. Lap-17: Yellow is out after Young spins/stalls in turn 2. King restarts in the 2nd spot behind Goeden followed by Haeni, Meyer, Neitzel, Reinke, Kristan, Kertscher, Wirth and Balog in the Top-10. VanDerVere is mired back in around 15th for this restart. Lap-20: King makes the bold pass and takes the lead down the front stretch using the bottom line and holds it out of turn 2. Goeden immediately changed his racing line and moved to the bottom as most of the field also followed suit. Of course, Reinke and Kertscher running the high line where they usually run anyway. Lap-21: Yellow is out after Warren spins in turn 4. Kristan grabbed the 6th spot from Reinke since the last caution with the field mostly unchanged. VanDerVere is still not in the Top-10 with about 10 laps to go. Restart: Yellow back out after Hafemann spins in turn 2. King suffers from the lack of fuel and is forced to pull pit side as IRA rules has no work area within ten laps of scheduled laps from the finish. Devastating end to a great run for the guy. Two distinct racing grooves present as the lead pack of Goeden, Meyer, Haeni, Neitzel, Kristan are running the bottom. Reinke is running his top shelf, Wirth down low and Kertscher is up high. Lap-26: Red is out after contact between Kertscher and Reinke entering turn 3 ends the night for both of these high intensity IRA racers with Mr. Excitement showing no signs of injury during a full sprint through turns 3-4 for a possible exchange of pleasantries with Mr. Kertscher when he is restrained by MST Staff and Pres. Sinclair. Five-to-go restart and Goeden has a tail tank full of Meyer then Haeni, Neitzel, Kristan, Wirth, Balog, Davis, Johnson and VanDerVere in the Top-10. VanDerVere is using the high line masterfully and begins to pick the low line racing field and is up to 5th is short order. His all black Sprint is looking very impressive up there. Lap-28: Young ends the season debut with a shredded left rear tire out of turn 4. Green-White-Checker for Goeden onto the win as Haeni moved back to the high line in the final laps only to break the front end out of turn 4 low to the checkers spinning backwards across the infield finally stalling out inches past the checkers. The real show was VanDerVere in the final laps, that was great to see for that team.

Next IRA show is next Friday, May 9th at the 34 Racewway along with Knxoville on Saturday the 10th.

i left after your boy Kertcher pulled another one of his signature moves. i would have stayed if Reinke would have been able to get over their and ring his bell. someone will yet. hopefully i see it. are you sure about VandeVere? wasn't he 3 or 4 laps down? and nice job by Scott Uttecht for staying on the track when the A started, which caused another restart, which caused Tommy Sexton to crash and tear up some equipment ending his night. other than that, we would like to wish Travis Whitney a very happy retirement away from racing. he had a good, but short career. as usual, great report Michael. the new disclaimer idea, is a very wise way to start off.

besides that, the Midget A was pretty exciting. not many cars but really cool race up front.

S Uttech had nothing to do with Kertcher crashing Sexton deliberately,you might as well blame him for Reinke's accident as well then.Whitney did not retire he is just racing closer to home,he has been racing for quite some time to call it a short career.The people you should blame are the ones who allowed Kertcher to race again, Hartnell does not own that car anymore.

you know, i wasn't sure, but i thought that might have been Kertcher who wrecked Sexton. so he had 2 signature moves last night! wow! off to a great start! as for Travis, i was "eve-dropping" last night getting a beer, when i overheard some guys talking about him hanging it up. this after Sinclair saying that Travis was gonna go for three in a row. also, that obvioulsy wasn't Wayne Johnson in the 14aj.

Donny Goeden is the man. great job!!!! is he gonna run the whole schedule?

Let's be honest here, neither Sexton nor Reinke need ANY help crashing........  They do just fine by themselves.  Yet another Reinke-wants-to-pretend-he-wants-to-fight moment, huh?  When are they gonna do something about this guy?  I say they DON'T restrain him once, and let him find out what he's got coming.  Or, if he really wants to fight so bad, maybe he should try out some Ultimate Fighting.

Glad to see the 7v and 53w have good runs!!

Thanks for the updates, Michael!!!!

Travis did not make the tow due to the chance of cancellation and cost of fuel. Lets face it, it did not look too good early in the day. Strange Wings might want to get himself a scanner so he can hear what is going on. He would then know there were no lapped cars at the finish of that feature. It was Wayne Modjeski in the 14AJ as FattFro is now one of their sponsors.

Nick-Oh yeah, the night kinda got off to a slow start with guys spinning in hot laps and a few in qualifications with some early season bugs to work out. Meyer, VanDerVere and Wirth moving through the field was nice to see. King was great until he ran out of juice. Plenty of dissappointment along with the ear-to-ear smiles. Tim and the fellas were so pumped afterwards, it was way cool.

That Badger Feature was insane! Hess, Pickens and Gough swapping the lead at any given time around the track using slide-jobs and tail tank taps as it proves it does not matter how many cars you have competing, it's the couple that race hard for the position make it worth it. Excellent Feature by those guys.

Also, it is just me or are the Pit Lizards getting a lot better looking in Wisconsin? Holey Smoley! Them couple of rain outs must have given the ladies extra time to get all 'dolled-up'.

yeah, Travis not taking the chance and coming down to save fuel will cost him the 10g's or whatever it is to win the championship. and Michael, no, the chicks were NOT hot. take it easy on the Mike's Lemonade.

Hell of a race fan, Hell of a fan I say. Leaving with 4 laps to go. I am gonna guess you left before the traffic started so you could "lead the pack" out of the track,take the checker in the "I'm outta here 30 lapper" . If Travis "did" hang it up. you have lots of time to try and match his record. Can we expect to see the Tampon Wings sprinter next week?

well, i knew the race was over at that point with Goeden leading with 4 to go. and yes, leaving early was nice because i was able to miss the drunks trying to get out of the parking lot. i think i only took about a top 20 however.

There's only 1 Fattfro 14aj in my book. If its an IRA show he's usually battling for the lead. Mojo doesn't make the feature? I know its only the first week so I'll cut him some slack but he's got expectations to live up to sporting the 14aj.

I think Mojo may have had his 360 in that car.  They were supposed to have run Plymouth that night, but it got rained out so they headed to Charter.  I think cutting him some slack is definitely in order.

Donny Geoden drove the #77(mojo's ride) to a 6th place finish in the Gumout Series at Plymouth.
