i know this is a sprint car forum and i'm really not trying to start crap, but...

in todays irl race so far these people can't seem to keep from hitting each other, running over and into stuff and spinning out... and that is just on pit road. i like open wheel racing. i like the irl. hell i like all motorsports, but this years crop in the irl at least in this race sucks. excuse me for saying it has begun to be common for a while. when they do get in some racing without wrecking or parts falling off the cars it is exciting. folks bag on nascar, but they raced all day long 4 wide at 195-200 mph with almost less wrecks than the irl had just on pit road. it seems like the irl cars are pitting every 10 laps for something. in another note danica found a way to go from hero to zero faster than she fell back in the pack with her comments after she dropped out with what else? mechanical problems. she couldn't find enough excuses or blame and bad mouth enough people to make her day any better for herself. what a bitch! and i really have nothing against her other than her remarks. this form of the sport needs to get it's act together and realize that they need to provide some entertainment to draw fans and viewers and to survive.

ok, i think i'm done!!

i have to agree, a guy got wrecked buy one of the new dudes, as she said, but he didnt blame him totally for the wreck. not really sure of her real problem, looked like a clean race around her, just wanted to bitch i guess.

i can understand frustrations on her part, and a lot of times drivers are not the best diplomats, but she seemed to just go out of her way to rag on people. as fast as she was going backwards, be it due to problems beyond her control or not, it seems she forgot she may have been the one that was in the way of the faster cars. jmo on that. she always was a cocky little thing, taking to much to heart the girl against the boy thing. it seems it mattered more to her that she had to be tough in a male dominated sport than the others felt any threat or harbored any animosity. when she starts acting and thinking like just another racer, and not like a girl racer, she will be happier. all racers have competitors that they just don't like to get beat by more than other competitors, but in danica's case she is getting beat by a boy no matter what, and it drives her nuts. as i said when she gets over that she will be able to progress more mentally. my ex-wife and i used to race speedway karts. she always looked at it from the girl against the boy point of view. it just drove her crazy to get beat by the guys, even though she was the only girl. she always wanted to be treated just like everyone else, unless she won. then she wanted extra props for being a girl. you cant have it both ways.
