Tune in to catch Chick-O Alissa Geving on “Trackside at Infinion Raceway” program

PETALUMA, CA (4-24-08) – Area race fans can tune in and learn more about Penngrove’s teenage lady racer Alissa Geving this weekend on the regional motorsports television broadcast known as "Trackside at Infineon Raceway." Over the past several weeks film crews have been following Geving in her quest for the 2007 All Pro Series 360 sprint car championship and the segment is due to be aired this weekend in conjunction various NASCAR coverage. 

The half-hour motor-sports show can be viewed on several television stations in California and Nevada. In the bay area region, you can catch it on KTVU-TV (Fox-San Francisco, Channel 2), and in the Sacramento area it can be viewed on KOVR-TV (CBS-Sacramento, Channel 13). See below for scheduled airings. 

"Trackside at Infineon Raceway," coversthe best in motor sports, from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to NHRA Drag Racing to IndyCars and beyond. The show is hosted by long-time KTVU sports anchor Mark Ibanez, as well as Sacramento's Scott Pruett, who races in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series. Novato's Memo Gidley, who also races in Grand Am, will co-host a few times. The show is taped weekly at Infineon Raceway. 

This weekend Geving returns to Petaluma Speedway in an effort to maintain her series point lead. Next weekend, May 3 she will travel to Placerville Speedway to compete with the Civil War Sprint Car Series in the prestigious “Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds.”
