Mike Sala Racing Set To Run Placerville BCRA!
By Gary Costa

Placerville, Ca – April 9, 2008…Mike Sala's Oakdale, California based Midget, will be seeking the win in the BCRA Midget race this Saturday night April 12th at Placerville Speedway's high banked ¼ mile clay surface.
Murrieta, California's Robby Flock will be at the helm of the No. 19s Spike Chassis.
Sala Racing is coming off of a March 22nd USAC Western States Midget win in Bakersfield, California, where Indiana's Brad Kuhn drove to victory in a Sala Racing Midget.
Flock, who is a 4-time USAC Western States Midget champion, is no stranger to Placerville's high banks. A BCRA visit to the speedway June 23rd of last year brought The Sala Racing team a win.
Robby will be pushing the Bob Wirth powerplant for all it has, as Kaeding Performance's Brian Matherly will be massaging the chassis.
"I love Placerville, and the midgets really look good going around there. Robby and Brian work really well together, so I'm really looking forward to the race" Sala commented.
Mike Sala Racing would also like to thank: Bob Wirth, Paul Oil, Kaeding Performance, and Maxwell Industries.

At one time prior to the start of the season, there was a mention that Sala had thoughts of campaigning a 410 sprinter with USAC/CRA. Is that still a possibility?

Tripcrwn,
Thank you for you asking. Currently, he is working on his motor program. He did state however, that he would be hitting some races with the USAC/CRA series later in the year.

Great news Gary thank for getting back to me. Will be looking forward to seeing the Sala sprinter. Any info on who may be driving?

Hey, no problem. I'm a fan before a writer, so I love to talk about racing... It's one thing that I can't get enough of!
At this time, Mike is not sure who will be piloting the Sala Racing #19 Maxim. If I hear anything, I will be sure to post it.
Take care, Gary
