Cushion Pushers
Week 4 Picks:
ASCS - Gary Wright, Jason Johnson
Mods - Steve Smith (duh!), Tony Anderson
Factories - Steve Clemmons (ditto!), Jeremy Allen
Not a big fan of the new Top 5 point system. It's a no-brainer this week. Why take a chance and give up 5 points? I'm obviously not the only one who's paying attention, either. We could have a lot of ties. Maybe it'll get better, but I say let's just go straight up like we have been. We're only picking against one other team, and there's enough good drivers in each class to choose from to keep it interesting. You never know what can happen from week to week - see Alan Oliva and Jeremy Allen. We don't need incentive to pick a low point driver. I say keep it staight up!
How 'bout a bonus point (0), though, for picking a driver who actually WINS a race. That would be a 0, 2, 3, 4, 5...scale; instead of one point for 1st, make it 0, and then 2 on down. That would be a better incentive. JMO. Something to think about.
Let's Go Racin'!!

and at another glance. the idea behind the top 5 points deal was to avoid folks picking the same as each other. yet somehow, ironically, that is exactly what it ended up doing.
I tell ya what - I'm a man for the people - so in effort to meet those people I will make my way down to the Airflow Racing Products trailer to finally meet David Jones and ARP..........hopefully Wes, cheesem Springer, and others can make their way as well. won;t chill too long as it will be cold - but it'd be nice to meet a few that I have not yet had the pleasure too. yeah it would be cool - I'm completely genuinely honest when I say I;d love to hear some feedback and thoughts -------without having to get on the net to do it. if you don't see me though - it's because it;s supoosed to be pretty damn cold tonight - the kind that make you want to a heated transport to your own heated transport...............lol ah the hell with it. I'll see who I see or whatever at the races tonight. Ya'll all take care before then
Me and Speed Racer might as well do a COIN FLIP with how this baby turned out. lol. i'll change one tho so it won;t be an issue.

We can have a get together at the arp trailer. Me an Okcfan might have to discuss a little side wager on the beat down he will incur next week.

I'll be there as soon as the races are over to witness the deal. Don't start without me.
