Friend Chris Smith and myself made the trip up to Enid for tonights (Thursday) practice for the $10,000 to win Thunder in the Park modified race. Twenty-six drivers were on hand just for practice with drivers from Austin, Texas, Lamar, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Iowa and Wisconsin. Here are some of the names:

Randy Timms, Straun Taylor, Jason Schniepp, Brian Franz, Pat McVicker, Steve Miller (Austin TX), Willie Kraft, Dave Hardesty, Darren Deloach (Lamar, CO), Troy and Brenden Gemmill, Joe Adams, Billy Turner, Mark Smith, Alex Stanford (California), Alan Sharpensteen, Jim Ciampi, Eddie Martin, Jon Herring, Kip Hughes, #16 (think it was Shawn Govern as they never unloaded), Steve Arpin, George White, Sean Jones (Paul Cook #81) and two more trailers that were pulling in as we was leaving the track.

Fourteen of those drivers were not on my unofficial driver committment list, which ended at 27 drivers.

heard they were expecting 125 mods. thats a tall order..............

David could you do us the service of posting Enid Results tonight? In return I'll try and get as much results as I can although I'm making sure of each top 10 - and thenn doin notable for where others finished in relation to THE LEAGUE. but yeah it would be cool to see some Enid results tonite - and see how Kid Propps does and other SFS and Sooner State Reps.

If thats cool - then thanks to you in advance. and have a safe drive. btw - Enid sits right north of el reno on 81. if for wever reason you end comin through here or not - there are some great places to eat. Along Sunsset BlvD there is authentic meditteranean place called "Georgio;s. The further up towards where 66 and 81 meeet up there are 3 burger joints right there together but on different blocks. Johnny's. Robert's, SIDS is the BEST. If you came in on 81 from the north and was goin south on 81 thru there - ya'll would run right into it. theses placed are bob.com. and another one that sits in the old wal mart shopping thats being a tore to shit right now - but it's a hot dog place. awesome hot and chili dogs. next to a Tractor Supply. Well if you go into the Hot Dog store - tell Paula that Cody said hello.........

125 mods? DON'T THINK SO! Be lucky to get about 60. Did they forget USMTS is running this weekend; along with a lot of other tracks? But never the less should be a fun weekend of modified racing just don't expect to see 125 mods. Maybe if it was $100,000 to win but not $10,000 to win. Wish I could go. LETS GO RACIN!!

C'mon, don't spoil it for OKCFan12 aka CCC, it's all about the car counts and a 125 car count will get him all lathered up and he'll be like a bowl of jello the whole weekend.
