Yep, know of it. Got wind of it prior to the Copper On Dirt in Az. That was the buzz around the pits that weekend. When one car owner was asked if he would support it, he said: "If theres a race w/o "those guys" (he pointed a finger at a uniform wearing person), I'll have two cars there." I walked away thinking we wasn't kidding.

Not my place to announce anything. Not like myself or slick_spot5 have a big scoop that isn't known by others. If someone blurts it out, thats up to them, just not for me to do so. I understand some details are still being tended to, then something official should be announced. 4/19 is the correct date discussed.

Yup, KK is right. Talking about that beast. On 4/19, KK will power that sucker down the PCH from Ventura to Long Beach. He will "attempt" to get .5 miles per gallon out of it!!!
Oh, if KK gets another kind of ride, he might double back that day too!

come on - why the games? I know a big race in Victorville at the fairgrounds...right? No USAC (there not running that week) and big purse. Just a guess lets see what comes of this dumb thread.

Prieto then reminded me of a factoid he had passed along in
the days of front-engined dragsters. He said, "You know that you're in
deep trouble in a dragster if you can suddenly see things clearly. That means
the supercharger has been blown off the top of the engine and the raw
nitromethane fuel has eaten through your visor."

Why limit the CID?
Ted Johnson wanted to create a national series that was open
to anyone who was keen to race, there were few rules, apart from some common
sense safety rules. It was themed as "Run What Ya Brung".

How about Cary Faas & Jack Gardner doing Victorville April 19th.
Open Tire rules, must run what you start on all night.
Open engine limits.
360 steel blocks and under can run M5VP 5% fuel.
No head restraints required.
No Cockpit adjustable shocks. Can be mounted outside of cockpit and away from drivers hands. Crew guys can adjust if mounted else where.
3 point nerfs
No Mufflers
This is an attempt to bring the fun back Cary said. If this goes well there will be more this year.
Rules will be up on CaryFaasRacing.com in the next 2-3 days.
No radios
No drivers under 18.
D.O. Laycock
Good Luck Boys.
