I saw today that SPEED will air the ASCS show from SFS live this coming saturday night.

I'm wondering if they'll also air the USA Mods and the Pro Stocks, or if they'll insert fluff between the ASCS races.

Does anyone know?

this saturday night at SFS is the ASCS, Champ Sprints, and Factories. Man its kinda hard to say. if they air it live - I'd think they would show all 3 classes - if they didn't show the others - what would they do with that time - there ain't exactly a lot to sit around and talk about during the support classes. it ain't the Knoxville Nationals.

Interesting. Where did you see this? Because I just scrolled ahead to Saturday on the guide so I could set it to record and didn't see anything other than a bunch of episodes of Drag Race High, Pinks, and Unique Whips running during Sat. evening. Maybe I missed it or maybe the schedule is not correct or maybe it hasn't been updated yet but I didn't see it unless all the episodes of Drag Race High are it.

When I got home from play day I turned on 'The Speed Report' to see who won the Cup race. At the end of the show they were promo-ing upcoming programs. I even backed it up to see it again (Tivo) to make sure I saw it right.

That would be too cool! I'm even off that night. Okay, well.....i'm off everyday but that's beside the point.

But, if it doesn't happen, I won't have to make my girlfriend sit through it. I like watch the home channel with her so's when's I want to watch a race, she can't complain,

I sent an email to Lonnie Weatley, since he is part of ASCS media, asking him about it. He said that this was the first time he had heard anything about this and in his opinion he doubts the chance of Speed doing the race.

I watched the Speed Report Sunday night and I didn't see anywhere that ASCS race at OKC was going to be televised. I did see where the OKC ASCS race was an upcoming race for this weekend. Why would the Speed Channel televise an ASCS race instead of an World of Outlaw race

I think what they meant was that the ASCoT was to be at State Fair Speedway in OKC this weekend as it was mentioned along with other major races that are going to be held this Easter weekend. IF it were to be televised there would have already been press releases and would have been a big deal up til now.

JD, she's a new girlfriend, so I'm afraid I have to bring her in through the N****R route first, then slowly ease her in to SFS. It's worked before, my ex-wife would love for somebody to take her.

yeah no bull brian you got it right. we've already put together enough public notice and attention that would probably trump the viewers of whatever re-run they are airing that night. lol.

but in relation - is HIGH VISTA gonna be in town to tape the races? I hope so - they do awesome work. and the fella that always does the ascs races is a really cool dude.
