Anyone have any good short-cuts for the bowl. I thought about turning at Gainsville and going over to 75 to cut out alot of 635. I was wondering if any of you pros out there have ever tried it???

We went down through Sherman on 75 last fall and got on Beltline about 2 miles before we got on 635 and took it around through Plano and Garland and Mesquite , was better than the gridlock on 635 from what I understood, got traffic lights but at least you stop and then get to go again in a minute, not sit for minutes in the same spot before you move 10 feet, Worked pretty good for us last fall and luckily for us Beltline takes us right to our motel on Hwy.80 and Beltline. The plan is to try it again.

Also found out it is $25 for the Grandstands. Where ya sittin Mr. Jones?

Nachos and burritos. The answer to any bowl question is nachos and burritos.

We usually sit towards turn 1. Probably where we will be. We are staying at 80 and beltline also at the comfort suites. We used to stay across 80 at the other one but last time we stayed there was right after the hurricane and all the people from there were staying there. It was so nasty we haven't stayed there since. The comfort suites has a Devil's bowl rate of 65. We are only going down saturday.

On a side note, your headers are done. Jeff is bringing them to the ORA meeting for ya.

later that same day - I had to come over the same route JD did. but we was runnin behind. traffic jam after traffic jam on the oklahoma side of i-35. both time I went to the Bowl last year I had to take that route over to Sherman and down 75. the first time it worked with success. in the fall we were so late that once we got on Beltline - it was freakin mess. I think it kinda applies that no matter which route one takes - better leave early.

I've hashed out a few different routes take - but I won't advise something I have never tried. but this weekend I think we'll stay in Arlington b/c of Six Flags. not even sure if we're goin...........

I went to Dallas a couple of weeks ago and they had all lanes open on I-635. Traffic wasn't too bad.
