1. 10N Niki Young ($3,500)
2. 7M Mark Smith
3. 71 Brian Leppo
4. 25 Chad Layton
5. 22 Greg Hodnett
6. 87 Alan Krimes

There were 27 cars on hand. Young started on the pole and led all 30 laps for his third career Lincoln win. Smith appeared to have Young set up for a pass for the lead, but hit the inside guardrail in turn four on lap 10.
Rahmer was involved in a heat race crash, then won the consolation before coming from 19th to seventh in the feature.
Doug Esh rolled onto his side on lap three of the feature, but was able to continue (finishing 13th).

Rahmer a passing machine again. The only driver to make significant progress, up to 4th before sliding out of the groove, relegated to 7th.

Agreed, you couldn't take your eyes off the 51 for a lap. Good to be back at the track.
