How about picking 3 cars but they have to be from one of the 4 classess running that night? You have to identify each driver and from what class your picking from, such as 1s mod. Stanley Reed, 95 pro Mark Brill and 97 super Chris Burns for example, or a car from the other class running on that night. It also means you better be heads up on what classess are running that night.

damn Bobcat you just all full of ideas lately. lol.
I think it might be a good adjustemnt if all classes were kept seperate. Like have 5 leagues - 1 for each class. I think there could be a possibility that some would only do certain classes. not tryin to to hijack your plan I promise.......
but there could be 7 leagues total
A league each for Super Sprint, Champ Sprints, Mods, Factory's, and Pro Stocks - and a 6th for all the ascs shows.
The 7th League being an overall league. everyone could be put into that - but obviously it would favor those who play every week in all classes.............. it sounds a lil complicated but I think we could keep track of it well. I played fantasy football last year for the first time and kept track of 12 teams like a freak. got 10 into playoffs - 8 into championships - and won 5 of those. But Bobcat thats a really cool idea. Not sure if my thought on 7 leagues is a sound one - a little more simple may be better. But I'd probably pick on all of em. I think there would be quite a few peeps that would play...........

I just need someone to teach me how to play. Since grammar school, I've been told, does not play well with others.

hey dude I could help keep track of all the points and keep standings on here and my myspace page. could keep em in several different places actually. My mom told me the other day that I should be a statistition. But the way the fantasy football on yahoo was worked pretty well. 10 teams to a league. which means 5 head-to-head matchups each week. and you keep a record of wins and losses - along with an overall point total that served to determine tiebreakers. there were 2 sets of playoffs after week 14 in the NFL. teams placed 1-4 - and then teams placed 5-8. The 5-8 bracket obviously was like a consolation bracket. But the winter nationals could serve as the playoffs. for night 1 it would be 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3. thus on night 2 of winter nationals there would be a championship and a 3rd place matchup.
it may be a little time consuming - but without a draft and a complicted scoring method - it would be very very simple. It would just be logging the matchups each week - takin' the picks (on this forum) - and then logging the pt. totals and standings. man bobcat I do all this same type of stuff with the Bowl Shootout that my family and another family we friends with pick on - even published the standings every day on myspace. oh - 1 other thing - you're right - 8 different types of leagues is too much. there could be 1 for sprints. 1 for stock classes. 1 for special shows (ascs, sprint bandits, mod shows) - and then the overall one. that would make just 4. either way - final rules could be put together so everyone knows
funny thing - as I got in more fantasy leagues on yahoo last year the team names became more animated - most my team names were sprint car related - but the best by far - and the one where I never lost a matchup - was - The Nut Sacks. don't know bout appropriate - but it was amusing. La Cosa Nostra and Corleone was alright - but the Nut Sacks were still the team everyone wanted to beat (pun intended).
BobcatJD - whats your e-mail and I'll try to cut and paste how the fantasy football standing were tracked. not the scoring - but just the standings. I take it you want to do scoring by pickin' - what was it? 3 cars in each class? oh the hell with it - I'll e-mail you with what I was thinkin. this is already long enough - and it's hurtin uncle a's eyes! my bad uncle a - lol. on and btw Bobcat - I give you Propps for such a good idea! lol
