Nodak Speedway's New Online Home – RaceNodak.com – Launches Today, Season Kicks Off In A 'Monstrous' Way On Feb. 22-24!

1/17/08. DarinShort.com, Rockwall, TX.

Nodak Speedway in Minot ND is home of the nations' longest running track-club promoted speedway.

The Nodak Race Club has promoted racing and special events at the 3/8 mile power plant since 1952.

And today, the Club and Speedway is pleased to announce their new online home at www.RaceNodak.com .

The new site has several new features, including the ability to offer ticket and apparel sales, larger images for easier viewing, a free email club and more. For 2008, all Nodak Speedway drivers are requested to provide new car pictures and a brief driver summary at the website. All of the details on that procedure are located on the site on the 'drivers' link.

The site will also be updated regularly with the latest in upcoming events.

Right now, the home page features the 2008 lid lifter, which is the 'SuperBowl' of off-season events, the 17th Annual Wild About Wheels (WaW) February 23-24 & Monster Truck Thunder Slam on February 22 -23. A entire weekend extravaganza!

WaW is a complete weekend of racing related activities for the entire family including: a Car & Motorcycle Show, Racing Parts Swap Meet and Racing Industry Trade Show.

Then, at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, the All Events Arena at the Fairgrounds will reach sound decibel levels never before recorded in North Dakota – with the running of the Monster Truck Thunder Slam.

And for the first time ever in Minot, the world famous BIGFOOT will be competing in the monster truck racing card each night. It's sure to be an action packed weekend for everyone, so make your plans now. For more event details, please visit www.RaceNodak.com .

The 2008 racing season at Nodak Speedway is packed with special events and top-quality IMCA weekly racing. The season opener is on April 27. Special events include the annual Roughrider Classic on June 13-15, the Dakotah Modified Tour on June 12-13, the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on August 17 and the season will close with the running of the wildly popular 'Motor Magic' three-day multi-division racing spectacular on August 29-31.

Stop by and check out all of the action at www.RaceNodak.com and thank you for your support of North Dakota's Playground of Power, Nodak Speedway!

I think I'd actually go to see monster trucks if they started racing on ovals!

(Well, I'd probably watch anything race on an oval for that matter...)

Glad you are enjoying the site. The online purchasing will offer fans another level of convenience this year, similar to how we did it at CowtownSpeedway.com in '07; which ended up being very effective.

And I've already got the 'special' home page ready to load for when the WoO comes to town...

Smile

Lillegard,Groves,Mack,Corum, Bob Bender, Faul, Niketenko, etc, man oh man, brings back some good old sprint car memories from Nodak Speedway (or should I say "super modified" cars.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

As I receive more pictures from the Club, I will be posting them. Certainly a ton of history at that speed plant - and more to be made again in '08.

racinrebel - you still having connection problems? I'm not aware of any issues on the site. Keep me posted.

Is that Jason Groves you're talking about? I used to do some online racing with him. Would like to say hello. If it's him, can you tell me how to get ahold of him?
