Heard they have shows at Enid, Ada and are trying to figure out which track to run in Muskogee.

The site has not been updated in months and with Tom Sewell accident recently I doubt it will be updated anytime soon.

Barry told me to let everyone know to look at the OCRSRACING.COM web site for the new schedule. Said it will be a few weeks before it is complete.

talked to Barry last night. here is what he knows for now: Two shows in West Siloam-both on Saturday-one memorial day weekend, the other-labor day weekend. two shows at Ada-dates unknown so far but the second one will be in sept or oct when OKC is off.. two more shows in Enid. there is also a possibility of 8 to 10 more shows we are just waiting to see what the tracks want. there is definately more interest this season. you OKC guys should really think about coming up for the WSS shows. the track is not a horsepower deal and it is a fun track for these cars. plus, they run a great show over there. watch the website www.ocrsracing.com for rules and schedule updates

We here at WSS would be more than happy to have the OKC/Lawton racers travel here.I know WSS is a quite a haul for you all.But I do hope some of you make it up here.....From a personal point of view.It has been many years.Since I have got to see the old OKC/Tulsa rivalry.Great stuff. CC

I agree. If the bottom part of the purse was raised - or even a small amount of tow money distributed - I think that could make a difference. coupled with a fair amount of advertising for the evemt you could well make that purse difference back and maybe more. I ain;t tellin ya'll nothin you don;t already know - but in just lookin at the results every week that place has really got it goin...........
best track in that area - and def. in the top 3 in the state - and I imagine once I actually go there - I would prob. think even more highly. kind of a very long drive though from W. of OKC. although - instead of Mid America trips - guess I could replace that with WSS maybe. especially if it was a full show with all the stock cars + the sprints. will WSS run any ASCS2 races? that would be cool along with OCRS.
but yeah WSS I think would be good for a larger than normal champ sprint race especially once SFS season is over and maybe even on an off night for CCS. With an advanced purse + travelers - there could safely be 30 sprinters there and possbly a whole lot more. I think OCRS and their tracks will do real good and start and maintain a healthy rivalry in the 2 bbl. sprints from the different tracks.
Keep kickin ass at WSS .......
