Just got back home.  What a day!  Go to whowon.com if you want to read the story on the A.

How Gardner bicycled in turn three and didn't lose a position to Darland was amazing!  Track was fast and racy with a deep cushion.  Seemed like fewer cautions than in years past (not saying there weren't lots of cautions, it just that the Chili Bowl always seems to bring out the overly aggressive driving style.)

Can't wait to go do it again.

boy the Hoosier state really stood tall - sweeping the top 5 positions.

think Brady Bacon was one of the few who was hot enough in the A Main to challenge Gardner with a 24th to 7th run and after bringin out a yellow came from the back to finish 8th. Feature was much better than last years - in fact - I thought the racing was awesome throughout all 5 days. a couple were lesser after track prep - but that happens. even those were still great. my head will hurt for a week breathiing in all that dust and fumes. it will always be worth it tho. thanks to everyone who really busted their ass to make it such a good race.

lol

yeah man I was either wearing championship soccer shirts or an OU shirt with an OU hoodie. politics took a big time backseat to racin this week. haven't even much thought of it at all. probably won't either for a while. racin was too good to think bout anything else. I'm already primed and ready for March.............

I tell you what - come time for Devil's Bowl or OKC winter nationals - I won't be undercover......although I don't wear statement shirts - especially with politics (I'm not near as crazy as most on hoseheads think) but I may in fact be wearing a "Sons of Liberty" shirt. lol.
