Just watched tonights Chili Bowl race LIVE on foxsports.com and wow I am pumped for tomorrow. Dave Argabright, Larry Rice, forgot the other dude and my friend Pat Sullivan were the announcers and fit perfectly with each other. I do hope that they are who will be announcing tomorrow (Saturday) nights finale LIVE on PPV!!!
They tilled he bottom before the feature finale and the announcers were more or less saying they made it a one - groove track. Darland and then Damian then worked the top with about eight laps to go and finished strong.
Just seeing Kahne, Leffler, Cruisman, Dave Darland, Shuman and watching/listening to Tony Stewart having a blast being interviewed really has me pumped.
Can't wait for Saturday night!!!

That is what I love about the Chili Bowl, you can rub elbows with some of the best drivers in the world and yes they want to win but they are there to have fun too. The years I have gone I have always got pit passes and for the money it is the best investment. I was up there one Sat for the auction but had a tralier with no trailer lights and did not want to come back hone in the dark so I missed the Sat night race. I kick myself in the butt for that one.

I thought it was awesome watching Ronnie Shuman being competitive after being out of a race car for ten years. The "Demon" is one of my favorites having watched his non-wing debut at Manzy several years ago. Wish he and Kruseman hadn't gotten together. Tough break for Cory. Kevin Swindell had a nice late run. I'm hoping a "no name" like Kuhn or Ford takes the main Saturday. I'm kinda tired of having the NASCAR angle shoved at us.
