Now please explain to the readers what your statement has to do with this thread.
You are a sad little troll man. That is a Truthful Fact.

I have recently seen things I have not seen in a very long time. Race motors, hotrod motors, sprint car chassis, complete sprint cars etc for sale at unusually low prices, lots of 'em. Other things I won't mention here. Just my opinion so take it as such, thanks

I am thinking its just ongoing business as there now seems to be an abundance of new teams an drivers in "THE POOL" to buy and sell, hire, fire and whatever else there is...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Surprised? You believed their motives were altruistic? Many bought into that. Some suggested caution but were swarmed by the Kool Aid drinkers. Full circle but not at all surprising.

Not altruistic, enlightened self interest

rev---you've been on this earth long enough to know the economy has never not corrected itself. History tells us the longer the period of growth, the worse the correction is. Since our last recession was really only a 2 month blip on the radar caused by the covid shutdown, we have yet to have an actual correction from 14-15 years of growth. 14-15 YEARS! This is one of the longest periods of growth we've seen as a country without a true correction--similar to the Roaring 20's. The previous correction was the worst since the Great Depression, and that one was after 8 years of growth. The average recession happens every 3.5 years.
The economy is going to take a big dive at some point. I work with many manufacturers in my area, and some of the signs are already there. Will it happen in 2025? 2026? 2028? Who knows. What is clear? The longer this economy is falsly inflated with people spending money they haven't earned yet, the worse it's going to be when it happens.

I'm not trying to be political (hard to avoid on this topic), but a certain someone has proposed creating a national reserve of cryptocurrency. I'm not dumb, read several articles on the topic, but i still don't know WTF Cryptocurrency actually is....
Methinks that could lead to a HUGE crash....

I'm not sure anything can be done to avoid the eventual strong downturn we will (and need) to see. We kept propping up our economy in the mid-2000's with stimulus checks every time it appeared the economy might slow. Eventually, that caught up to us and it made the eventual crash much worse in 2008 and 2009. We need to just let a correction happen this time as painful as it may be. Propping up an economy that has been on the rise for this many years is a dangerous game. I don't care who ends up in power, and when the dominos may fall, but I really hope stimulus checks aren't given out before this next correction happens organically.
I too struggle with the concept of Crypto so don't feel bad. I don't even know enough about it to comment.
