Money?

Literally Sye would bring money with him granted it wouldn't be as much as Crouch. If money is the big reason CJB would be dumb to not make a push for Tanner Holmes. He would bring money and has some experience traveling.

Neither Lynch or Holmes ran every race High Limit. Crouch did, and experience counts a lot.
CJB spent every one of those in the same pits as Crouch, and raced along side him each night, so the know him well.
The CJB team are no fools. I think Crouch a good choice.

Not a huge fan of obvious ride buys being done at the high levels of the sport. The 7s is a rental to the highest bidder and now it seems like the Buch 13 and the CJB 5 are there for the highest bidder as well.

Rental rides have been a thing for some time. It's down to the grass roots level, KKM has been successful at it for many years, it also might help some teams survive. Money talks and that's the bottom line, I don't care for it but that is the way it is. Raw talent rarely gets a driver in top equipment these days.
There are exceptions. Congratulations to 2024 Lincoln Speedway Champion Troy Wagaman Jr. I've followed his racing career for several years and I'm so happy Mike Heffner gave him a shot in his 27, it's not a story we hear often anymore.

Crouch was in a topnotch car and did nothing. Who cares if he ran the whole series? They would be better off keeping Bayston. Peck, Lynch, Holmes would be much better choices if their goal is running upfront.
