I'm going to say it will be....driving the Roth Motorsports #83, from Oklahoma City, OK....it's "Flyin'" Ryan Timms!
Proudly supports:
Logan Seavey, Corey Day and "Big Sexy" Brandon Overton

First question: Why did Roth stay with JMAC longer than any other driver in the history of the 83 car? It wasn't like he had world-beating numbers over the past few seasons. Before I would even want the ride, I'd like to know:
A. Did Roth finally cool his expectations, and the new-hire might be able to actually drive the 83 for the entire season if he doesn't win every other race? (After all, who the hell wants this ride if you may end up looking for a new one on August 10th?)
Or,
B. Did JMAC have incriminating pictures of Roth, which kept him in the ride that long?
(I'm being over the top on this, but I think you get the point---As a driver, I would explore EVERY possibility before jumping in this car)

McFadden had 6 WoO wins in the 2023 season. That was despite missing some events because of the tire related suspension. The only guys with more WoO wins that season were Sweet, Macedo, and Gravel.
Since Sweet, Macedo, and Gravel already have steady jobs it made sense to stick with McFadden. It was a good move too because Roth just secured a High Limit Charter
Does that help ?

Timms for sure sounds like a good fit for the ride.
A driver that crossed over from Non Wing to Wings that looked real good this year at Knoxville was Emerson Axsom.
Not sure how he does on the short tracks but he sure did a fine job on the big 1/2 this year. I'd sure like to see another young driver like him get a golden ticket and see what he could do in a top notch Outlaw ride.
I know this is off subject but is Hunter Schurenberg still in the seat of the #55 car?

The first season or two I did not really think it was just a "Roth" ride. It seemed other parties were involved from a former employer of Jmac's so I have always maintained that not everything was on Roth's dime with the JMac 83. Do I have any proof? No. Is this a conspiracy theory? not really, more speculation. Do I hate speculation and conspiracy theories? Yes. But, here we are.

Serious question. Is it worth paying a subscription for Sprint Car Unlimited to get some real news instead of getting jerked around for 8 minutes everyday by the dude that sits in his attic in NC?
I'm genuinely curious.

I mean for $35 not a bad price point for a year. I enjoy the weekly podcast (minus the picks portion which I never listen too) and the content is more from a journalist perspective instead of press releases which is a nice perspective. If you are looking for something that gives you breaking news you can pretty much get that on FB and X (twitter). I don't mind supporting someone who is dedicating their job to benefiting sprint car racing.

Absolutely. I have been a subscriber since the beginning. Jeremy is a hard worker and dedicated to the sport. The weekly podcast with him and former Mike Heffner Crew Chief Ryan Hand is worth it for me besides all the content. Heck I think $35 a year is too low of a price to charge (basically one racing T Shirt or Hat) but that is just me.
