When you own the series I think you should be able to do just about whatever you want.

I say it was intentionally unintentional.

Considering Sweet took responsiblity for it and admitted he was at fault I'd say a racind deal. Most likely saw an opening, went to take it and misjudged it.

Maybe not intentionaly, but preventable. Had it been his boss Kasey, he would have prevented it.

I didn't watch it but the way Sweet drives he is NOT a dirty driver..He's calm and collected..Was more than likely an accident..

Didn't sweet run over somebody in similar fashion earlier this year? I believe he blamed it on his brakes fading out.

Yeah it was McFadden both times. I don't think anyone intentionally wrecks another driver unless it's a retaliatory move, which this wasn't, but it was definitely bad judegment and totally Sweet's fault.

Looked like a racing deal to me
If anything, McFadden was slightly edging into Sweet's lane, who was coming up behind him faster
No rear view mirrors... shit happens

Yeah he mentioned failing brakes after he crashed into Gio Scelzi at the BAPS WoO show this past summer. In that case, he destroyed his own car.
I agree with revjimk and whatever great philosopher first said "shit happens..."

Sweet ran over Gio Scelzi at BAPS, that time he threw his team under the bus and said they still hadn't fixed their brake issues. So thats 3 times he's gotten too hot into turn 3 and caused big wrecks.

I think we have our answer right here. It's been 9 months and all we can recall is one other incident like this. I would say it's an accident/misjudgement. I don't know too many winged-410 sprint car drivers that would intentionally make a move like that to take out another car. Maybe a good ole' fashioned Sammy wheel feed, but not a full blown side swipe. Especially not Sweet doing that to JMAC.
Nothing to see here, once again-----move along.

If his driving style frequently makes his brales fail perhaps he should deal with that from one angle or another. Change brakes or change driving style but to regularly race without brakes is obviously extremely dangerous. To me, watching the video, looks like he took a chance at an opening that disappeared and could not respond, or respond quickly enough.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

6 consecutive championships in a row with the two top winged 410 touring series (5 WoO and HL this year).
"change driving style" is your advice to him.....

His driving style doesn't make his brakes fail frequently nor has he had brakes fail frequently. It was during a short period of time which the team got corrected....obviously. And if we keep score on drivers who have gotten into others that would be 3 for Sweet this year which may be 2nd only to Schatz. Most drivers are at 3 by the end of the first month of the season or in the back of the pack. Driving style or brakes don't need to be changed. 6 championships and however many feature wins proves that.
