So long to one of Central PA's best drivers and pranksters. You were interesting to hang out with, you will be missed.

A great guy! His legacy both on and off the track will never be surpassed.

If you never had one of his personal guided tours of EMMR, you missed one of the great things in life!

One of the greatest central Pa drivers ever. When he was in the Boop's Aluminum ride he was as good as there was. One of rare individuals who deserved Hall of Fame recognition not only as a driver but as a historian also. RIP Champ.

He was the first sprint car driver I rooted for way back in the early 70's when I first started going to Port Royal in the Boops #1 car.R.I.P

Took the words from my mouth....

I don't know if you're talking about official "guided tours", but any time you were there & he was too, he was welcoming, great stories, lots of info from a knowledgeable source

Never saw him race tho

RIP

Mr. Paxton was my Sprint Car "Idol" as a kid.  R.I.P.  The Museum lost their ambassador - going to be massive shoes to fill!

As a young fan my hi-light was Labor Day either 1979 or 1980 watching him win the Classic at Port then Traveling 35 miles back west on Rte 35 to watch him win that night at Selinsgrove!

He maybe the last traditionalist to win w/o power steering - i could be way off base on this one....but i swear i remember hearing this story more than forty years ago!

There's 3 drivers/cars I remember rooting for when I was a little kid at Selinsgrove and sometimes Port Royal in the late 70's. Kramer Williamson in the Pink Panther 73, Paul Pitzer in the Weikert 29 and Lynn Paxton in the Boops Aluminum 1 - great man, great story teller and historion, and of course one of greatest ever drivers. RIP to a legend.

he was always at emmr when we went and was wonderful with my kids.  he always got out their box of diecast cars and let them pick one.  it was one of our favorite places to visit because of him.  he will be missed.
