I know we all love our open wheel racing, but I wanted to pose this question:

Has Kyle Larson ever ran the late model nationals, and would him running make you go? I've been to the late model nationals maybe a handful of times, and a couple of times was b/c I had free tickets.

I don't think larson has ran the kville late nats before.

I have been to every late nats since they started it so it wouldn't matter to me if he is there or not.

My opinion is if he did, he would be the first and only to win the sprint and late model nats.

He ran one of the prelim nights a few years ago, but had commitments for the rest of the weekend. It was 2021 and he finished 3rd.

and all the new fans, increased purses like never before. increased revenue for all the  merch trailers, food vendors, local hotels,  motels, local restaurants,  air b n b, VRBO and the like.  more dollars into county coffers.  so, all the naysayers can just stay home I guess...

we have to remember how to grow the sport, bring in new fans!  kyle and his crew are showing people how it gets done, its working obviousy, rather you  like it or not...

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Life is good...

Good to know. You also probably avoid any races that Tony, Kasey, Ricky, Christopher, have done as well.

I've been to races where those dudes have won, except Ricky Bobbie, I thought he was a movie star. I dig my local racing, when the circus comes to town I stay away and let the real race fans have at it. That's another good to know fact about me.

Beezr, I understand. As the sport grows, it'll create new fans, new sponsors, and more money for the teams and drivers. At one point, you were a new fan as well.

Sprint car racing has flipped a lot of Nascar fans over the past 20-30 years.  This is a positive.  I want the stands full at events I attend.  It pays the bills, and assures the event will return next year.  I have taken a dozen or more Nascar diehards to events like the Knoxville Nationals, and many of them never returned to a Nascar track because they realize the show is much more exciting.  Now, rather than saving for the worthless waste of time Talladega race, they spend their racing weekend in Iowa at the Nationals.

So, go ahead and bring the Nascar fans.  We need sprint car fans to keep this ball rolling, and the only way to get them, is to turn some folks from other forms of racing!!!

I don't mind them coming over to the good side, but they also need to learn there are some different racing etiquette between the two. Like sit their a$$e$ down during the race.
