We're within a week of the JRM, any word on who will be racing outside of the IRA guys? This race has always had a special spot in my heart as it was the first race that I traveled to on my own. Anyways, just curious on who might be making the tow this year.

I think they will be down on outsiders this year. I beleive there are a couple MOWA races in IL that might keep a couple potential teams from coming up and ever since Port Royal started running the same weekend, some midwest teams head to PA like Reutzel and Schurenberg in the 2KS are headed out there. Tasker Phillips is headed to Nebraska. Tim Estensen is taking the week off per his social. So with races in IL, NE and the High Limit race in PA, the JRM might be down a bit on cars.
That said, the only outsiders I've seen committed are Blake Nimee (not much of an outsider I guess) and Chirstopher Thram. I would imagine Dobmeier and maybe one or two others from the Grand Forks area would be there. Doesn't matter too much to me though, the race always ends up being a good one and a nice way to cap off the year for me. They should have 30 410's, maybe low 20's for 360's is my guess.

I'd guess 28 410s, 22 360s and 24 non-wing. 24 in each class would be perfect, no B mains. 7k to win I guess, have not seen a purse breakdown. Going to be chilly! Bring twice as much clothing as you think you'll need.

TMez has said in a couple of blogs lately that he is headed to Wisconsin this week, so you can probably expect him there.

I love this race! It's always a good time. With the cooler temps, will we see a track record for the 410s for the third time this year? I am bringing the RV to park in the tailgate section so my kids and wife stay warm. My son races his go kart on Friday at Thunder Hill Speedway and then we will watch the 410s and 360s at CLS on Saturday. Doesn't get any better than that!

I appreciate that! It's been 9 years since I retired from racing and this race was my last one. I think about it every day. Hopefully the stars align and I will get another crack at it.
