While I agree politics really have no place on this Sprint Car Forum and I wish people would check them at the door,now that it's been brought up I have to respectfully disagree on one point.
If a majority of people thought like you did and didn't bother to vote, then you would have a minority of people picking who's policies best represent their wishes or views running the country. That's why I always say every vote counts in local, state and Federal elections every vote is important if you care about the direction our country is going. That's all the talk about politics I care to have on this forum...

I'm coming from a place you wouldn't understand. I was in the JW religion for twenty five years. They do not vote or participate in politics. If I had been caught voting I would have been disfellowshipped and shunned. When I left the cult in 1999 I continued to ignore politics until 2016. If you knew my wife you would realize that she would never let me get away with not voting. My son and I said that to each other after he was "talked to" in a bar.
In my pre-JW life I worked in catapults on an aircraft carrier launching planes and am a veteran with a DD214. My religious history goes back to being an orphan and the JW's coming around and taking advantage of someone who had been through a lot of trauma.
There I go commenting again. Moderators should block me and take you all out of your misery.
