I wonder how I knew as soon as this came up exactly who the ones were that were  going to get all worked up about it. I am still waiting on a couple.

You're right

A guy just posts to warn us about positive COVID test & people start telling him its the flu

Back to racing....

It was dangerous at the beginning of covid.  Now it is not - with each strain it is getting weaker and weaker.   But enough of the facts!

To the original poster, thank you for posting this topic.   I also went to the Nationals and did not feel well during the week.   Because of this post, I took the extra step of testing for Covid.   I did not have Covid, and recovered quickly.    Being nice should always be encouraged and rewarded.   Smile

It was not any more nor no less dangerous back then than it is now. Had it twice now and quite frankly it felt like I had a sinus infection both times. And I'm a immune compromised person.

Why can't YOU get it thru YOUR head that 2 people on this thread said they tested positive for COVID?

Flu does NOT test positive for COVID

Are you calling them liars?

YOU can't handle the truth

no way to tell what it is and where they were to contact it, covid, the flu

did they eat together somewhere in town, restaurant, gathering in the camping area? hanging out in some bari in town?  way to many variables in the equation to prove anything IMO only!  speculation seems to run rampant these days...

any, off to california tuesday for the gold cup, 100K for saturday nights show, hammah down!

Sir, please stop. Don't state things you are not 100% sure of saying they are facts. I wasn't going to get involed in this until now.

correct, the strains have gotten less harmful due to many issues, but it is still a dangerous sickness. my wife is a Nurse in an ICU unit. Their are still a lot of people having major problems, and passing away. So please, unless you have actual facts, please be careful

Back to racing.

I have had it three times. Three times I got very sick including the end of June this year. Missed the WoO at Cedar Lake for the first time ever. I had two friends who died from covid. Anyone who scoffs at or downplays the potential impact of this virus is simply misinformed or just an asshole. My wife works in a hospital and has covid now. To the original poster, I hope everything turned out ok and thank you for letting us know.

Hi folks, returned from the Nationals Sunday, had symptoms last night. I had 2 Positive Covid tests this morning. Runny nose headache and chills. One other member of our party has symtoms too. Just a heads up.

My illness attacks my immune system and if I get Covid I have to go to my oncologist and get an emergency dose of medication through an IV.  Thanks for the heads up.  I didn't realize it is still going around.  I try to avoid being around crowds but me wife keeps booking trips that require eight hour flights.  Whenever I have to fly I panic and that causes stress which in turn creates raised red welts on my arms, let's, hips and butt.  My whole left hip is covered with those and it's either itching like hell or painful to the touch.  They really make the wood and metal benches at race tracks unbearable to sit on.

Just ban me now, y'all don't need my negativity right now.

You said in another post "  It's obviously my fault but I can't just snap my fingers and make myself well"

Maybe the first time I ever disagreed with you... Its obviously NOT your fault!!!!

Stop being so down on yourself..... you've been dealt a shitty hand & you're doing your best

Hang in there

Politics and religion divides people and that's not a coincidence it's by design.Common interests sometimes brings people together. That's just my thoughts Stan. Keep up the fight we're all just weaving our way through this deal called life.
