Rico would be a popular winner of the Nationals. He looked really good in the non stop affair.Ricky helps with his experience and Rico is always thankful and humble. It gets down to a liitle bit of luck from the time trial draw to heat and no mistakes. Kyle will be favorite to win but first time winners are always the most popular. There are 10 people that could win and one flat can make the difference. Sounds like Sammy is going to try it again. Havent heard much about Kevins program. No question had He not got injured He was one that could have challenged the best drivers.

I suspect a lot of drivers use the CC to set up the car for the Nationals, to ensure they can start their prelim night fast. So those who go to the front row challenge, do they use a different car or reset everything twice before Wed and hope they set it up identical to Sundays education?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

"Havent heard much about Kevins program. No question had He not got injured He was one that could have challenged the best drivers."
Kevin Swindell had major back surgery earlier this year. I do not think that his car has raced at all this year. There is speculation that Sammy may be using Kevin's engines for his coil-over car that is entered for the Nationals.

Agree with almost all you say. However, time trial draw is a non-issue for the big guns. Guys went out early and set fast times, guys went out in the middle and set fast times, and guys went out at the end and set fast times. Teams/drivers with great programs should be completely unphased by the pill draw at Knoxville. If they lay down a bad lap, they just laid down a bad lap. That said, some of the average teams can benefit greatly, or suffer greatly from the luck of the pill draw. Guys that are a force at Knoxville, year in and year out, will draw all over the board and still rise to the top. Rico could have gone out in time trials dead last and it wouldn't have changed the outcome.

Ok just checking lol. There's plenty of people in here that know better than me but I believe that Osky is similar in size to Knoxville. So the set ups could be similar.

RIco's Knoxville Nationals and King's Royal wins over the last 3 years is proof enough of the theory. So many more than Donny's without him.

So tell me how many nationals has Ricky won without Donny. Don't run from the question either how many?

None, but he really didn't have a full-time gig either until last year. Ricky is a King maker and one of the best of all time.
How many wins did Schatz have when Ricky was with him? How many wins does he have after him?

Ricky joined him in 2005 before that he had 7 seasons of double digit wins 5 with the Outlaws 13,17 ,10,16,and 12. Do you even know where Ricky was before that I do but do you?

I am talking total wins with Ricky and then total wins after Ricky was no longer there. How many champions has he won without Ricky? Hint- it is a nice round number.
Let's look at the win totals I will start in 2006. I think if I remember right Ricky joined Stewart racing in 2005.
2006 - 17:wins
2007 -19 wins
2008 - 18 wins
2009 - 12 wins
2010 - 5 wins
2011- 8 wins
2012 - 11 wins
2013 - 23 wins
2014 - 26 wins
2015 - 31 wins
2016 - 25 wins
2017 - 20 wins
2018 - 22 wins - last full year with Ricky.
2019 - 11 wins
2020 - 5 wins
2021 - 3 wins
2022 - 3 wins
2023 - 5 wins
2024 - 3 wins so far. He is racing a lot better this year.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!
