I have 1 camping spot available for Wednesday through Sunday during the 410 nationals at Knoxville. This spot is in the north campground across from the car dealership. The campground has 2 nice shower houses and the spot has water and 30 amp service. The spot is for campers up to 26 or 27 feet. $200 for the 4 nights. Depending on availability you may be able to get the spot earlier in the week, we can work out the details. Please let me know if you are interested and we can talk.

Thanks,

Kerry Anderson

FWIW: A few years back we had a spot at the North Campground that we really liked and didn't want to lose the rights to. When we were unable to use it, I made the mistake of asking if I could sell it to someone else so I could maintain the rights to it the following year. I was told in no uncertain terms (and not very friendly like) that I could not do that and that if I did, they would not allow the person in. I'm sure that if I kept my mouth shut and sold it, they never would have known the difference, but once I asked, they knew who I was and what spot it was and could carry through with not allowing them in. So, we gave it up and got our money back.

Do what you want, I'm not sure how close they watch and I know they've changed personnel, so it may not be a problem. I just thought I'd give you a heads up. I'm sure you don't what to sell it and have the people not able to get in.

Moral of the story: Tis better to ask for forgiveness, than ask for permission . . .

Unfortunately, I thought I'd do it the "right way" and got burned.

I appreciate your heads up. I actually checked with the track before I posted this and this is what they said

If I return the spot it will not be renewable for next year.  If you want somebody else to use it then it will stay in your name.  I have had people who paid for spots and then just not show or they have other people who was in their group just use them.

Glad you checked and got the go ahead. Wish I would have had the same option. Unfortunately, when I checked I got a rather nasty response from someone who wasn't willing to work with me. As things turned out they returned my 11 day reservation to put someone in there for 4 days. Anyway, glad you worked it out and get to keep your spot going forward.
