I think long term it's good for Ohio to stop relying on the All Stars to have big shows, and this years Speedweek was a step in that direction. Excellent car counts, crowds and racing for the most part, and almost all the racers were from Ohio. Good showcase for the sheer amount of sprint cars in the state.

Now maybe it makes sense to move Speedweek back to the week of July 4th where it all started? It certainly helps with vacation for a lot of people.

They're not gonna move it to compete against PA speedweek

So...losing 2 cars that competed in (nearly) all 9 nights and 1 driver who was hired to compete in an Ohio car for a few nights is the concern here? The Aussie and Kiwi teams maybe? We're in a new era. The money in Ohio is not enough to drag PA's best here consistently. And I'll be shocked if any Ohio teams or drivers go to PA for their week. How many fans are affected if they have to choose one or the other? Probably not enough to consider it a problem. It might be better for Ohio to try moving back to around the 4th. But since the All Stars conceded that so long ago, it probably won't happen.
