Good race! It was looking like JMac almost screwed the pooch for Brent Marks. Bad look for JMac not to GTF off the track with a flat RR in my opinion. That yellow with 2 to go was completely avoidable. Glad to see Marks win

Rain won both WOO nights and the HL race was good. Only a couple didnt get start money which when theres 50 cars 25 dont have much to show. Being realistic a total of 12 cars combined from both groups will take most of the money. Nice deal for $1K for favorite cause and also fan getting $2500 for having winning driver.Sweet showind why He was 5X champion.

The interesting thing about it is that Knoxville had 36 410's, IRA drew 27 and there was a 410 race in Huron that drew 16 all on the same night as High Limit near St. Louis. It appears that for the most part there are enough cars for a bunch of races relatively close by Midwest Sprint Car hauling standards. That is a good sign. I wonder how many will decide to get some laps at Huset tonight?

Car counts at Knoxville have been very strong ever since they upped the weekly purse. Slowly but surely the Midwest is becoming a scene again, with Husets back and more touring shows instead of just Knoxville.

i didn't think the high limit series could hang with the outlaws. so far i've been wrong. it helps that high limit has most if not all my favorite drivers like marks, abreu, sweet, and larson. corey day is probably the biggest story of the year so far. unless you're a macedo, gravel, or schatz fan...i don't think woo has the same appeal from a driver lineup standpoint. it would help if logan and sheldon were more of a factor.
williams grove had another weekend where they didn't seem motivated to race. i've been around long enough now to see tracks like port royal and eldora get shows in despite less than ideal weather. there was a window for a saturday afternoon race. i feel bad for the campers or anybody who traveled a distance to see no racing this weekend. woo has hitched it's wagon to the grove while high limit is tied closely to port royal. if i'm the high limit series...i'm happy to be associated with the track that doesn't seem to take anything its fans and race dates for granted.

So were you around last year when Port canceled an entire WoO weekend on Wednesday based entirely on a forecast or did that one just slip right through? The Grove was ridiculously wet. I saw it with my own 2 eyes. The additional rain in the evening would've done them in on Saturday before the show was complete which would've then led to bitching from people like you saying they should've done the responsible thing and canceled. Or if they somehow would've gotten it in all while losing money because of a poor crowd due to shitty weather, you'd be the first one saying it sucked because the track was too wet and narrow. It literally wasn't too long ago you posted on here with your ass all out of joint about Williams Grove holding out too long with a bad forecast. So now they do the other thing and you have a problem with that all of the sudden. Sounds like you have a personal grudge with the Grove and a love affair with Port because Port has canceled early as much as anyone else the past 2 years. And as far as not taking fans for granted, again, you must've been in Japan watching baseball when they got an ass load of rain in the afternoon prior to the Thursday portion of the Tuscarora 50 and boasted on social media about how the track held up well and they were gonna race just to get people to the fair buying food then they canceled at 6pm when they decided the track was too wet. I was there at 4:00 & knew by looking at the track that there was no way in hell they'd race and my buddy who weathered the storm in the camp ground said the same thing without even seeing the track because it rained so much. If I knew, they did too and they blew smoke up everyone's ass just to get some revenue at the fair because other than on race days, that fair sucks and hardly anyone goes. So yeah, that was REALLY considerate of the fans let me tell ya.......
