To read a lot of people's opinions here, it seems there are many who think that the Hi Limit series is going to be a blow-out. It's like "Sweet and Rico are gonna win 112% of all the HL races and Larson will win the rest".
How about the other drivers? Who do you expect to do well and win some races?

I think Marks will win his fair share Courtney will also after that I'm not sure many will win more than one or two. If the top two dominate it's gonna be slim pickings for the rest and that might determine how many stick out the full tour. It may turn into a race for the last charter.

Marks & Sunshine will definitely win some
WoO survived & prospered when KInser won all the time....

It did and he dominated for many years but also remember there was a lot of years in the 80s where the amount of full time travelers completing the entire schedule was under 10 teams and it was close to a hundred races. This is a new deal and everything is unknown how it's gonna go, it's a deep roster for sure but is it sustainable for that many teams?

Justin Peck already has a High Limit race win so he is in the top tier.

I don't think its a good idea for the owners of the series to race the series! There will come a time when the "gray" area will be questioned!

In addition to those already mentioned I think Corey Day will win some races

Sweet and Rico will just have to ease off of the loud pedal once in a while to keep the others from not wanting to play! Lol.

The "gray" areas were questioned last year, how many shades of it will we see this year? I will gladly support HL in front of the warm glow of my TV, hell we'll go to the track and watch on a big screen in the parking lot.

Watching HL will seem familiar after following the All Stars since I started subscribing to Flo. They'll be hard for people living in some areas to attend their races as they aren't running anywhere near the upper Midwest where we have all WoO dates. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing but it's bigger than me so I'll be fine. The touring shows only amount to a few nights per season and I follow Knoxville, Husets and the IRA much closer. I had to vent about some scheduling issues that affect us to the tune of a few familiar names missing at local WoO shows but it's really no big deal. The televised racing is going to be epic and is often the best choice. It would look pretty foolish to complain about being retired and having plenty of time to watch every minute of it all season.
The racing will take care of itself and the same cream will rise to the top in both series. Larson, Sweet, Courtney, Marks will likely get a jump start. Gravel and Macedo will likely be at the top of the WoO standings. Big events that draw both will be under the microscope with a tally and plenty of arguments about which is best. Teams that haven't toured might go home broke with their tail between their legs.

Did the IRA keep them out of the midwest?

Do you know if they ever had issues with gray areas when Steve Kinser was involved with two different series ownership situations?

Good point, but they're the big draws
They should recuse themselves from any racing decisions

Nobody knows what will happen, I'll wait & see..
But I'm glad they're racing in upstate NY. The 2 tracks I've been to there were BORING modified tracks. I'll give these other tracks a chance

Fonda is odd shaped but can be pretty racy, Outlaw is decent but can get dusty. Both tracks though aren't the norm in NY which is usually dry and very slick.

Saying that Outlaw "can get dusty" is like saying Strawser can be negative about Port Royal.

What about racers down the list a bit? Will Jacob Allen win a HL race this year?

I have no inside information and don't care to speculate. The High Limit series doesn't cover every corner of the US like the WoO has dating back to their early years. Those kinds of things and the fact that HL doesn't come near me are the only piece of this that has any potential to impact me in anyway. I'm more in tune with what's in my wallet and what I will do than either National series. There is enough racing around here that I could go two nights per week all season without attending a WoO or HL race.

I think Peck will win some. As far as Jacob goes this will be the first time he'll be racing without his father so it will be interesting to see how he does.

I could see Sweet winning 25 races inside the series. Rico 12. Marks 5. Courtney 4. Peck, PPM, Eliason 2-3. Larson will win 60% of the races he runs and sprinkle in a few more single wins for some of the rest or an invader like Reutzel or Brown. Could be off but this is my guess. Probably missed someone important in my list but this is just off the top of my head.
